Great place, we are here for the third time and I used the guest apartment in winter and was always completely satisfied, so we decided to stay for a longer time this time.Here everyone can do whatever they want, whether it's a Womo Wowa, a tent or clamping. We find a place that still deserves to be called a campsite 👍👍👍

Very nice, courteous people who are happy to help. Place is great and recommended, quiet location. The paramedic area is getting old but is clean and well maintained. I'd love to come back

Nice older boss and very quiet place.Sanitary facilities are very well maintained but are getting old and are sparse when fully booked. Nice swimming pond. All in all you can recommend the place.

Nice, quiet, green campsite with lots of privacy because of the hedges that demarcate your spot. Delicious! There is a swimming pond and playground for children at the back of the site. Sanitary facilities are fine and clean!The owner is very friendly and her English is excellent!

Great facility. Staff very nice, accommodating. Highly recommended. Great.👍👍💯.We'll be back. Ingrid and Frank are very lovely people. You can feel very comfortable here. We were there again from August 22nd to August 28th, 2024. That was great! Thank you Uwe and family ❤👍💯🙋♂️That's why we're going again from 6.9.24-9.9.24. It was our first time at this great campsite and we were given a very friendly welcome by a nice, older operator. The campsite is in a very quiet location, right on the edge of the forest with beautiful walking paths. The plots are large and separated by hedges. We had electricity, water and sewage connections on our site. The sanitary facilities are super clean but a bit older. We felt very comfortable at the campsite.

Great place to relax!We rented a camping pod and were thrilled with the lovely furnishings.Since it also has a window at the rear end in the sleeping area, you can ventilate it very well, which is helpful when temperatures are high.We only traveled by bike, so we only had the bare essentials with us. In the camping pod, there is a double bed and a small bench for a child, and a small table and 2 seats. Additionally there is a box with dishes and even a pot and pan, and kettle.The owner has furnished everything with attention to detail. We would definitely come again.

Very friendly owner at reception.Showers and toilets are not the most modern but very clean.Quiet campsite in high season. Beautiful green areas separated by hedges, giving you a lot of privacy.We were here with our son and daughter aged 9 and 11. Nice large playing field and playground. They thought the swimming pond did not look fresh to swim in. Others did swim in it and the water quality is monitored.3 supermarkets within walking distance is luxury. We therefore did not miss the fact that there was no bread service at the campsite.You can also easily walk into Birkenfeld itself, where you can find several good restaurants.Many fun activities to do in the area, including for children: toboggan runs, climbing park, gemstone mine, open-air swimming pools (in Birkenfeld 1 nearby), Eifel Park (an hour's drive) Zauberwald, geocaching, visiting towns and of course walking and cycling.Electricity is paid separately and we therefore found it very cheap (used for 2 refrigerator/boxes, light, kettle, charging devices: average 2.50 euros per day)Don't expect a campsite here with all Dutch people and lots of friends for your children. We weren't looking for this either. We had a wonderful time here.Thank you for this nice stay.

This was our first time spending a weekend at this beautiful campsite and certainly not the last time.The camping park is well maintained and is located in the middle of the forest. Great for hikes and bike trips, you're right on the forest paths, but it's only about 400 meters to the shops where you can get everything! You can even buy bread rolls there on Sundays.The plots are well maintained and you have great privacy because the plots are separated by hedges. Water and electricity on site. The sanitary facilities are from the early 80s with floral tiles. BUT, super super but, very well maintained!!! No cobwebs, everything was very well maintained! I've never seen anything like this at a campsite before! It's hard to get something in when the doors and windows are open! You don't see any little visitors here. There is also a kitchen for cooking if you need it and of course a washing up facility. You can also cool off in the swimming pond on hot days. Dogs are welcome and are even greeted with a small gift.

Campsite close to nature. Very good condition.Clean sanitary facilities, friendly operator, friendly staff.The place is on a slope and is terraced.Located on the outskirts of the town of Birkenfeld.Shops about 500-600 m away. The next restaurant is no more than 1000 m away.Everything perfect.

Quiet campsite. The facilities in the sanitary building are a bit older but are still in good condition and clean. The plots are separated with hedges. Our plot had a water and sewage connection. I don't know whether this applies to every plot. Bakers, supermarkets, butchers, etc. are within walking distance. About 10 minutes one way. We were there for a long weekend. The campsite was fully occupied. I don't know whether it was individual groups or a large group. Unfortunately there was loud noise with shouting, singing and loud music until late in the evening. (We went to bed at 11:15 p.m., where there was still a lot of noise) Greetings from the disco. Otherwise a nice campsite.
