Spent 4 great days in Rothenburg, stayed in the Pension Pöschel. The rooms were completely OK and super clean. Very good mattresses and a large bathroom, what more could I want? For breakfast: bread, rolls, sausage (different every day), juice, coffee, tea, cheese, jam (different types), yoghurt, eggs and much more. Simply great. I enjoyed a nice conversation with Mrs. Pöschel every morning. Mrs. Pöschel is a great person nice and friendly woman and gives you great tips and information about Rothenburg. So it wasn't the last time I was with her. From here a warm greeting and a big THANK YOU

Wonderful inexpensive accommodation. We had a 3 bed room with a private bathroom. The facility is a bit outdated, but if that doesn't bother you, you can stay here inexpensively and close to the center. The breakfast was great. This was lovingly prepared and was more than plentiful. Our expectations were definitely exceeded - for the room price of 70 euros (as of December 2023).

We were guests of Mrs. Pöschel for 1 night. We were greeted very friendly. Everything you needed was there. Plenty of towels, shower gel, hairdryer, television... It's an old house but everything was clean. The location is fantastic. You're right in the old town. The breakfast was, as already described many times, extremely rich. Price-performance ratio is extremely good! We'd love to come back!!

The location is perfect to visit the nice Rothenburg. The price is within the most affordable. The room was large and clean. We had no noise problems. We are two queer persons and felt safe and welcomed. Bettina Pöschel is uncomplicated, efficient and friendly. She organized for us to have breakfast a bit later. The breakfast is generous and varied. Thank you very much, we would come back again!

We stayed for one night and had a fantastic experience! Rooms are comfortably arranged and surprisingly spacious, location is perfect within the walls of Rothenburg odT’s old town, and Frau Pöschel was the perfect host, personally taking care of us during our stay. Excellent value for a very popular tourist location, if you are on a pilgrimage or backpacking through Europe, spend a night at Pension Pöschel and take full advantage of the breakfast before getting started the next morning! We would go back for the breakfast alone - consider the room a free bonus to a delicious meal!

I couldn't imagine Rothenburg without "our" Pension Pöschel. You won't find friendlier or better hospitality anywhere in this beautiful city. We are so excited to be there again in July.

Ideal for pilgrims to St. JamesSimple, inexpensive accommodation, but with everything you need. Beautiful, quiet garden to relax in the evening. Very rich breakfast. The hostess very, very friendly. Everything was great, I was totally satisfied.
