A super nice, hidden hotel in Thalfang. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and the history of the old train station is omnipresent.There is enough parking space in front of the door.It's pleasantly quiet there.The music bar/restaurant is currently only open for breakfast.The breakfast is plentiful and good. You state beforehand what you want.The owner is very accommodating and nice. The good soul in the Bahnhof Thalfang Hotel.

Due to the bad weather we were allowed to do our wedding shoot downstairs in the restaurant. THANK YOU that it was spontaneously possible. The pictures are a dream. Wonderful location.

We spontaneously needed a room on Sunday because we were stuck in Thalfang with a car breakdown. Ms. Schmidt spontaneously prepared a room for us at 5 p.m. and our dog was no problem at all. We were even given food as an emergency portion. The room was simply great. And despite the hassle with the car, we felt very comfortable and can only recommend Thalfang train station.A big thank you again to Ms. SchmidtLG Anke, Frank and Snoopy Steiner

We stayed at Thalfang train station for 2 nights in August as a starting point for hikes around the Erbeskopf.The rooms were clean and modernly furnished. The owner was very nice and the breakfast was delicious.

Vacation with friends/motorcycleWhat was good was:Flexibility/we also got a double room in house 35 so that we could live in one building as planned.2 single rooms were booked in the train station.Breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere at the train station. No buffet, but by advance order.Not so good was:I had booked 2 single rooms with breakfast. When we arrived we were told that there was supposedly only one single room in the train station, the second one is in the associated house number 35. But there are about 350 meters between them, which is generally not a problem. Apparently this is also displayed when booking. But when I booked again on Booking (just for testing), I didn't see this again. I expect that if this is the case, I will be informed of this when choosing a room/booking!Only this general note can be found:(Some rooms are in a former train station building (under the canopy). Others are in a historic garden house, 300 m from the main building.)P.S. House 35 is on the main street, although the old, converted train station is quiet and more secluded. For breakfast you have to walk over to the train station. In house 35 there is also the single room with a separate bathroom across the hallway with extra access. That should also be described.WiFi? You can't really call it that. At least in house 35 it breaks off permanently because the signal is too weak!I didn't see any electric bikes (for rent), but that doesn't mean anything.
