The location is great but that's about it.From a room that is not like the photos to a fire alarm where the hotel employees don't move a meter or do anything.Unfriendly and incompetent employees like they are in a picture book.The bed was just a sofa.What's really great is the location but that's all.The elevator is extremely slow without even being there you can't imagine such a slow elevator to the 5th floor.

We ended up at this hotel due to a closure and rebooking at another hotel.The room, about 9 square meters including a bathroom, was very functionally furnished. One chair, no cupboards, very small shower for two people. Bed is more of a queen size. You have to want to cuddle. 😅We were here for a concert, so one night. It was really enough for that, but the room wouldn't have been suitable for a longer stay.Central proximity to Alexanderplatz and, above all, quiet at night are positive points.

Strange smell in the bathroom, there was a strong draft coming from the cistern, there were ants in the bathroom, the heating didn't work, room cleaning was poor (hair and dust everywhere). The breakfast was good and there was a lot to choose from.

The bathroom smells like drains. Cold air came from the cistern in the toilet. There were ants in the whole room (7th floor). Rooms generally rather dirty, hair and dust everywhere, towels were not clean. But the breakfast was very good.

I'm not sure what hotel existed here before this but they seemingly took a 1-2 star motel and freshened it up in the cheapest way possible. It looks nice in the pictures but it's clear when you see it in person it's not so nice. Like putting lipstick on a pig.If you're paying more than 2 star hotel prices, it's not worth staying here. The first issue I have with the place is they have horrendous directions on their website. If you're driving to Berlin (which I would avoid) google maps will try to take you down tram tracks to get to the entrance. The entrance sign is very tiny and difficult to see if you don't know where to look. If you need to park, note that it's €30/night in a very sketchy looking courtyard that can (barely) the fit 15 cars. I'd recommend parking their temporarily to bring your bags in and then parking at the cheaper and much more secure H4 hotel parkade. We had to park here and get directions from the very kind staff at H4 whom are In no way affiliated with Greet. We wished we had just stayed at H4 instead as it's a much nicer hotel for roughly the same price we had paid. If you have trouble finding the lot, do not follow Google maps terrible directions. Go down the back alley road Kiebelstabe and turn left onto Alex-weddingstrabe, then turn left at the police station. Follow the road til you see a very narrow gate and a tiny parking lot.The rooms were awful. No ability to control the temperature and the rooms were overheated despite it being a cold day outside. The beds are uncomfortable (though this is subjective I'll admit), there's no fridge and the bathroom fan is very weak. Bring air freshener with you....We also had electrical issues similar to other reviewers where the bathroom lights would randomly turn off mid shower if an electrical outlet was being used.Service was mediocre. One staff member was really friendly, the other was edgy and acted as if he was doing us a favor by checking us in. They never cleaned our room for us despite putting the door tag out, though it was partially our mistake as there's a small sign in the room indicating you have to specifically request cleaning. It wasnt a huge deal bc we were only there two nights and they had an offer where you get a free hot drink if you stay 2 nights and don't request cleaning.... Which of course they didn't honor.Location was ok. Outside of the issues I mentioned earlier Alexanderplatz can be a sketchy area at night. Restaurants in the area are over priced. It is about a 5 min walk to the metro station and right beside the tram station so that's one benefit.

Good location and close to a lot in townVery nice staff and accommodatingHowever, problems with the AC, which results in very hot rooms. Got to borrow a fan which helped a little, having the window open didn't work as we had a room facing the street which was very busy with trams and emergency vehiclesBut we had a good time because of good treatmentPeter and Helena
