I booked this hotel for friends and was ashamed of it afterwards. This hotel doesn't even deserve its two stars. The room was clean, but that was the only plus point. The breakfast was puny, and I have never experienced it in any German hotel.

When here for an evening meal with my wife and her friend. Had a lovely meal in the garden area. The food was plentiful fresh and well presented. Taste was very good on the 3 different meals ordered. Ranges of drinks was very good with some excellent beers. The owners and their family run the hotel and restaurant and great customers like old friends. I would highly recommend the restaurant.

We stayed there one night. The rooms are still in the 80's. It smelled musty. Because there is no ventilation in the bathroom, there is not a lot of mold there. Unfortunately the TV and WiFi didn't work. We paid 88 euros for one night. With the mattress I could feel every single spring in my back. We communicated this to the lady there, unfortunately there was very little understanding there, or rather none at allWe can definitely not recommend the hotel. Everything was very old and it wasn't our cup of tea at all.

After booking by telephone, the price turned out not to be the agreed telephone price. according to reception it changes every 5 minutes. Agreements are agreements. So we moved on.

We booked a double room for my parents for our wedding. It opened earlier but no drinks were sold, let alone the beer garden opened in May. The room was an absolute disaster and impudent and actually unacceptable. The door to the toilet was broken and was hanging halfway out and you had to go to the toilet with the door open.

We had dinner with the family at the Hotel Specht for Mother's Day. The buffet had a very large selection and there was something for each of us. The food was perfect & the staff very attentive. In short, the Hotel/Restaurant Specht is an excellent restaurant, both in terms of the delicious food and the courteous staff and chic atmosphere. We will be stopping by more often for special occasions!

Mother's Day buffetHere I am only reviewing the Mother's Day buffetFor vegetarians there were exactly the side dishes, asparagus, asparagus soup, vegetables and tomato mozzarella. No sauce without meat, but we still had to pay the full price of €35.The buffet was generally very poor for the price. Not much choice and unfortunately nothing “special” about it.Still, it was tasty in itself, just not for the price.The service was really great. Very nice! A little too ambitious. Every 3 minutes someone came and cleared a plate or asked if we would like something more to drink. A bit much of a good thing, but better than the other way around.

I can't say anything about the rooms as I was only there to eat.Thanks to the animal lovers and protectors of Noah's Ark, who and their members have been meeting at this inn at regular intervals for years, I got to know and appreciate the very good food that is offered here! No matter which plate you look at - you want to try everything straight away! So my "five stars plus" for the excellent cuisine and the very friendly staff :-)See you next time ...

Ate there. Simple rustic but delicious cuisine. Service nice and attentive.Drinks offer very simple.Some more modern non-alcoholic mixed drinks would be nice.But the overall impression is very positive.

We were very satisfied, the room was rustic, you felt like you were staying at Grandma's (very nice!) The food in the evening was great (huge portions/great price too), I can only describe the host and landlady as very friendly, helpful and in a good mood describe. The lady at the reception who gave us the room definitely didn't mince her words and hit exactly the right tone, very great. The only thing I would complain about would be the mattress, but I'm also a "strong" guy and the landlady told us yesterday that they're currently gradually renovating everything, my God, it's not as crazy for one night, Rome didn't get any better either built in one day. It's definitely a yes from us, we would book there again.

Never again. Don't watch the TV because there are only a few channels on. When showering, little or nothing shower gel and hair shampoo. And room doesn't look at this price.

I found out from a friend that the Hotel Specht has a beautiful beer garden where you can eat very well. The beer garden with a small park is beautiful. Everything was very clean and stylishly decorated. A little oasis where you can simply switch off and relax with good food. The food was super delicious!!! The owners are very friendly and really nice. I looked at the interior - great!!!!!! Different sized rooms decorated differently, very tastefully. There is something for all celebrations.All in all, absolutely recommended.
