Good for sledding between orchards! Sometimes it's really full and some people end up parking on the street, which is annoying. But there are also parking spaces further away, which means you could walk to the slope in a relaxed manner. Nice corner.

unbelievably bad!I usually only rate if I was satisfied, but what we had to experience at the Alter Kohlhof country inn was below all...A previous reviewer actually described it exactly as it happened to us. The service was so unfriendly and dismissive that we stopped while we were ordering and left the restaurant. Very embarrassing and guaranteed to be the last time we were there.

Went there today and was very disappointed with the quality of the food. The roast pork "Alter Kohlhof", advertised as a house specialty: meat tough and sinewy, the red cabbage tasted like nothing, the bread casserole was only edible with a lot of the mediocre gravy. Sorry, but not for 16 euros! My companion had the Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad for 20 euros: the Ka salad was completely unsalted, the schnitzel was small and limp. It doesn't work at all! First and last time! Service: a young blonde nice girl, a violet one, who was rather annoyed. Here too: probably not again!

The Alte Kohlhof, a place to relax, eat and drink well, enjoy and unwind.That's the plan.If you then observe people who park their bikes in the middle of the beer garden on Sunday lunchtime and then want to move the tables from a closed room into the sun, then the enjoyment and peace and quiet are gone.You probably left the unnecessary baggage at home. This consists of respect, consideration and decency.Maybe the behavior of the nice service employee was not service-oriented in the eyes of the guests, but if you hadn't rushed in with the door and acted according to the motto: I, here, now, right away and immediately, the lady would definitely have been ready to give in .It's also a shame that only people who have a bug on their hands write something on these pages. It would be nice to hear from the 90% who liked it, who often come and enjoy it and are happy that the Alter Kohlhof exists.Because it's no fun with such uncouth guests and you don't have to be surprised that there are no more service staff.Perhaps it would be best if the guests got their own things, then they can change tables as often as they want.In any case, I wish the Alten Kohlhof team continued good nerves, much success and guest-oriented employees.

Unfortunately we didn't even get to ordering...thanks to the unfriendly service!My wife and I wanted to eat on the large sun terrace after a mountain bike ride. Since the Landgasthof Alter Kohlhof advertises its great location for mountain biking, we were very excited and looked forward to a cozy meal. However, we received a very unfriendly welcome. A strangled “Hello” and then the curt note that the wheels have to go. When we were told that we would like to have the bikes within sight, we were again informed that the bikes had to be put "right at the back."As far as understandable and comprehensible...When we then asked whether it was possible to put a table on the spacious sun terrace (>300m²; only 6 - 7 tables were provided) instead of in the cool shade (end of October) we also received a harsh "no" and the hint that only the tables are available as they were set up.So much for that...We then left again, with the clear intention of never stopping by here again and certainly not recommending eating here to anyone - not because of the quality of the food - but because of the lack of friendliness and flexibility.
