We were allowed to be guests at the hotel on the weekend. Small, cute hotel with a brilliant location. Our room even had a view of the castle. The roof terrace is great and the welcome was warm. Everything was explained in detail, tips for Heidelberg were given and you immediately had a good feeling. We'll be back!

The hotel claims that it is designed for disabled guests! This is absolutely false. Unfortunately, this was not reality. The hotel was absolutely not wheelchair accessible.Accessible means, among other things, that a wheelchair user must be able to enter and leave the hotel without any problems. This failed because of the elevator from the parking garage to the hotel. It was so narrow that I was only able to roll into the elevator with great difficulty and help. In this case, disabled access means that the elevator should have been bigger!The room doors were also not designed for wheelchair users, so it was not possible for me to enter and leave the room on my own. Handicapped accessible means that the room door must be wide enough so that you can easily move the wheelchair into a room independently!The space inside the room was so cramped that I couldn't get to the window or the bathroom with my wheelchair. Here, too, there are DIN dimensions that were not adhered to for a room suitable for disabled people!The bathroom was absolutely unsuitable for people with mobility problems. The door was too small. The bathroom itself did not have any adapted bathroom equipment with a roll-in shower, grab bars and an emergency call system. In your house, the shower was too small and didn't have grab bars, nor did the toilet. Furthermore, the shower was not at ground level, which is a requirement for a hotel that is accessible to disabled people. The bathroom in your house does not even meet the minimum requirements for it to be described as handicapped accessible.Conclusion of the stay in this house: Despite all the friendliness and help of the hotel staff, this was not the stay that I had imagined in this house. There can be no question of a relaxing effect in your house!When asked, the hotel refused to offer a discount.

Very centrally located, nice hotel! You can quickly get to the old town or to the castle (mountain railway on the "ground floor").The room was spacious (with a small kitchenette) and clean. Due to the rainy day, the room temperature was ok in the evening. Probably marginal on hot days, but fans are available for that. The beds were comfortable and the night was pleasantly quiet - but unfortunately short, the room doors slammed badly.The employees were all very nice and accommodating. Thank you again for trying to find out what our allergic son can eat before breakfast.

The whole thing probably falls under the “youth research” category. The service is run by very young employees, but there is no one in charge!When we first entered the hotel there was a terrible smell of mold in the hallways and in the room. Not for sensitive noses. On the second day the smell had largely disappeared.The location of the hotel is great. Directly under the castle and within walking distance of the old town.

Great location. One minute to the old town and directly from the ground floor with the cable car to the castle and the Himmelsleiter. In addition, very, very nice staff and a rich breakfast, which can also be taken on the roof terrace with a great panorama.
