Simple guesthouse. We had a family room. Room was clean and big enough. We just didn't have enough towels. Breakfast sufficient. Perhaps you should consider the age of the children when choosing bed linen. My children were 15 and 17, pay attention to the bed linen. 😂

We were there at the weekend with a group of 15 people and felt very comfortable. Yes, it's not a 5 star hotel but the rooms were very clean and the bathroom was great.. absolutely recommended for a short trip to Winterberg if your expectations aren't set too high... And kind regards to Meiko :-)

Pure disappointment in the reviews, the guesthouse is totally unkempt and untidy, the bathroom was not cleaned, mold in the shower and on the window. Children's private items in common areas. In the room you first had to provide electricity and light yourself in the power box. There were only 2 towels in total for 2 people.Breakfast and location are fine and you can play billiards table football in the lobby. Some of the drinks that you can help yourself to were over six months old.

Location and facilities are great. Nice and quiet location next to the forest and yet you can still be in the center of Winterberg in 5-10 minutes. The breakfast was also excellent and rich. And the owners are more than nice and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

The rooms were clean and tidy. We had an extra bed in the room (3 P), this fit perfectly.You can take drinks from the refrigerator yourself. Remember what you drank, on good faith.Friendly help from the manager/owner.Breakfast was simple but more than fine.The cozy sitting area with fireplace does not really match the photos. This doesn't really encourage you to sit downstairs.There is nothing else to do in the village itself. We came for a week of skiing, you have to go there by car. It's easy to do.If you don't expect luxury, this is a great location.

The lady is alone, but she's doing great! She is very friendly and accommodating, child-friendly and very generous! The rooms were very neat, clean and inviting. The breakfast was sufficient and also very tasty!All in all, we would love to come back!We are at peace!Thank you very much 😊

This inn is more than a joke/disappointment.The pictures on the homepage or on Booking are a pure illusion. Yes, the room was okay, but towels that were supposed to be white were washed out gray. You were greeted with slurred language and you could hardly understand the person. Hospitality looks different. Everything in the house was dark and musty. The supposed fireplace room/dining room was apparently the area where the family lived; there were messy things lying around everywhere. Nothing was shown to you. In front of the house there was a complete garbage dump, the supposed garden area was overgrown.We left the facility immediately that same evening.

Catastrophic conditions, from complete chaos on the run-down property to private laundry being hung up right in front of the entrance. Rooms with children's horse bed linen and cuddly toys and a terrible breakfast including coffee. Worst travel/overnight experience I've ever had and that's why we only stayed one night and then left early.

It is a superb location, set in a secluded and peaceful area, right on the edge of the forest. The hosts are extremely polite and helpful people. The rooms (because we had two 😁) were very clean and well maintained, as were the bathrooms.

The entire environment appears run down and unkempt.The rooms are clean and inviting.The breakfast was pitiful with instant coffee. There is rubbish in the breakfast room. The tables are not set hospitably. The service person seems unkempt.Can still be improved with a few measures.

It was a nice stay at Pension Walddorf with family. A nice and quiet environment for a hike in the forest. Clean room and a nice owner/staff who is very helpful.

Such a nice and cozy place. It is very good price for what you get. Very new bathroom and room, all is very clean, comfortable and in great condition. Family owned place with kids running around, which makes you feel like at home! Very nice breakfast. Host was very kind and friendly. I definitely will be back here.

The environment is beautiful and feels like a cabin in the woods. There is a fireplace in the living room at night where you can warm yourself up, drink some wine and eat delicious food, and chat with the boss. It has the feeling of being in a European and American movie. It is a place where it snows in winter, and there are The ski resort is a great place for those of us who love to watch snow.
