I have been coming to this small, cozy inn for several years for work, and it has really grown on me over the years with its operators, the Siebel couple, and their employees.I felt very comfortable the first time and I always look forward to my stay, which despite the purpose was a bit of a hit. I hope we have many more times together and we wish the Siebels all the best ❤️.

Today we were in the hotel restaurant. The food was very good, better than in restaurants in the surrounding area. Likewise the good price-performance ratio and the friendly service. We will come back.

Super nice service and the rooms are comfortable. But the fact that a “Gypsy schnitzel” is still offered these days is a discriminatory impudence. It’s not a circumstance to label it as “paprika schnitzel.”

We went to the restaurant again and were very satisfied!This time there was a large salad with tuna and egg as well as a special turkey schnitzel in Gorgonzola sauce. We can only recommend it!

I slept in the hotel for two nights, it was in a quiet location, the room was very clean, the staff were friendly and the owner was very nice.I was there with my dog, who was very welcome.Price / offer: Very goodThe restaurant was closed, so I'll try it out next time I'm there

Good day to everyone,I was there on Christmas Day today.The food was served to me almost 3/4 hour after everyone else, we mentioned several times that something was still missing, but to no avail. In the end I got the food, which was clearly too salty and the croquettes weren't a hit either. The only thing that wasn't worth criticizing was the friendliness of the staff.Lg

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews. As soon as I entered I noticed an unpleasant smell. The taproom was sparsely attended for a Saturday evening. There was no vegetarian dish on the very small menu and no prices either. Despite the circumstances, we waited an hour for food. The schnitzel came out of the deep fryer and was very tough, but the fries weren't cooked through. The service came to the table relatively rarely, and at some point you didn't feel like ordering any more drinks. All in all disappointing.

Beautiful rural hotel. Very spacious, clean rooms. Good service. Nice people.A bit old-fashioned, but that's part of the rural environment. We are satisfied.

Unfortunately, it is no longer so easy to get a meal in Hilchenbach in the evening. Fortunately, we were well served at the Gasthof Siebel and there was nothing to complain about about the food.

Food was carelessly thrown together frozen food...even though we were the only guests we waited an hour for the food...service was listless...instead of farmer's schnitzel there were two small flat pieces with a teaspoon of vegetables...
