We came with a group of 14 people. Reception was very friendly. When we moved into the room we were a bit disappointed. We expected something different for a double room that costs 379 EUR for 2 nights for 2 people. We were not eBay guests. We paid full price. To be fair, I have to say that the rooms were very clean. Our bathroom was so narrow that it was hard to move even though we weren't exactly overweight. The furniture was old but of good quality. We had a view of the courtyard which wasn't very impressive either. Swimming pool and wellness area were OK. We ordered our food from the menu in the evening and it was also very good. The waiter was very nice. However, we expected something different at the breakfast buffet for this price. I would say standard. There was a lack of salmon and other foods that correspond to a 4 star hotel. Most of our fellow travelers didn't tell us anything positive about the rooms.

I received a very friendly welcome here. I really like the hotel and the surrounding area. It is a very family friendly hotel. Golfers, riders, skiers are also catered for here. There is a swimming pool, gym, sauna and solarium. But the crowning glory is the food here, the hotel gets a Michelin star from me ⭐️ So on the whole, highly recommended.

Everything was great from arrival to departure.Friendly welcome, beautiful old but very cozy rooms with a lot of charm.Rooms and hotel very clean. The outdoor area is a dream and well maintained.Nice pool and everything here was spotlessly clean.Everywhere in the house you will find cozy corners where you can sit down and relax with a delicious glass of wine or simply with a bookThe entire staff was very friendly and attentive.Food very good and homemade cakes. You feel completely at home here.

Very negative experience. Not recommended!Just like many others here in the reviews, we also ask ourselves how the hotel's 4 stars can be justified.Due to the many positive reviews and the hotel's self-portrayal, we booked our extended weekend with a clear conscience and came with corresponding expectations. Unfortunately, they were really completely disappointed. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us at all.- Booking: we booked a compact package including various services through a third-party provider. The booking confirmation was sent to the hotel in the same way. It was only upon arrival that we were informed in a subordinate clause that some of the included services regarding food were not offered by the hotel on the days we were at the hotel. Only when we pointed out that the service offered by the hotel did not correspond to the subject matter of the contract and the same value of the stay did they agree, after laborious back and forth, to serve us a one-off 6-course menu instead of the gourmet buffet as compensation. We were particularly uncomfortable with the way the employee dealt with this situation. She said she had never experienced this before. However, reading other reviews shows that other guests have also been in this situation.- Room: On the hotel's website, our "double room" was advertised as an example of the hotel's single room with a photo. The size of the room also corresponded to a single room. When I asked what this was all about, I was told that this was an error on the website. We were then offered a double room, which was larger, but also much older.- Condition of the hotel: overall getting old, some old, gray carpets that were sealed with adhesive tape.- Food: OK, not 4 stars for us. The promised 6-course menu turned into a 5-course menu because 1 course was forgotten to be served. We were also told that the soup had been dumped (!!). We were offered an alternative. The time between courses seemed random and overall far too long. What was particularly embarrassing was that we heard people from the kitchen asking if we had noticed that a course was missing. However, we were not asked about it. It was only when we discussed the missing course after dinner that the mistake was acknowledged and an apology was made. As compensation we were supposed to get the course the next day, but that was forgotten too. We no longer felt like addressing the new error on our own.- Service staff: friendly, hard-working, but not a day went by without serious mistakes (for example, we had a fixed place that was sometimes dirty or not covered, agreements were not kept...).- Leisure room: old table tennis table & rackets (handles stick, rubber comes off), reminiscent of a youth hostel- Swimming/sauna area: spacious, the bottom of the pool is loose, unclean, shower gel was not refilled, lockers were largely unusable, the rest were full of rubbish (e.g. a piece of cake or a pudding was left untouched in one for the duration of our stay). open locker, were not put away)Overall, the stay for us was anything but the wellness break advertised. Shame about the money!

We stayed at the hotel with the whole family for the weekend. It's a really great family hotel with a small pool and slide. The food is really great and the service is wonderful. A really great family hotel. We would come back at any time.
