Completely outdated, unclean, unhygienic. Rooms partly with mold. Breakfast ok, but some plates were dirty here too.

I don't have high expectations for an overnight stay - but dirt in the bathroom, old worn towels, bad smell, dust crumbs were an imposition. The renovation seems to have been going on for quite a while. Too bad!

The staff was friendly and helpful. They didn't have enough guests to open the buffet, so they brought breakfast to our table. The hotel is completely rundown and barely functional. The whole building stinks, and the hallway is full of old furniture, which gives it a creepy vibe. The bathroom was horrible: dirty, and there was no soap in the shower!

A very outdated house in which cosmetic repairs are laboriously trying to cover up the real need for renovation. …

I didn’t read the reviews of previous visitors to this place - which was a shame! I’m probably already used to the fact that most hotels in Germany are of decent quality. But there are also unpleasant exceptions:This third-rate lodging house for the price of a decent hotel unpleasantly surprised me:1. The room is small and more reminiscent of a room in a brothel than a hotel room.2. a bed with springs (19th century model) - it crackles and sways terribly, as if a squadron of hussars had galloped on it.3. smell in the room - probably the owner knows about it - since the window was already open. But the problem was that at night there were some screams outside the window, the window had to be closed and the smell appeared4. washbasin - 23 cm. Are we in the land of Lilliputians? I saw such a mini option a long time ago in a cheap hostel5. breakfast for 15 euros. There are no words - cold scrambled eggs, they didn’t even give me sausages.6. dirty dishes - I went through the plates and only the sixth plate was without streaks. Obviously, the owner needs to either buy a dishwasher or take a closer look at the dishwasher.7. The partitions in the room are made of plywood!!!Conclusion: if this is an establishment8. An interesting marketing move - when I booked a room, the schedule said check-in until 22:00, I arrived at 21:00, but they added another 10 euros to my room bill for late arrival. It turns out that somewhere on page 5 it says that on weekends check-in is until 18:00. Formally, they are right, but you must admit, it smells like deception. Show me another hotel whose check-in time is 15:00-18:00!!!Conclusion: rename from Stadt Hotel to Student Hostel and reduce the fee from 87 euros/night to 30 euros. This place is the biggest disappointment of the year

Nice people there, delicious breakfast. Quiet location despite being close to the city. Own free parking spaces available, but ROOMS have the charm of the 1970s.
