Everything was really great, but our room smelled very musty, like a basement.And it can't be darkened either.

This is our second time here at Pension Waldsauna. My family and I feel comfortable here. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Feel free to come back here at any time.

We only rate the gourmet breakfast at €21.50There were 9 of us, but only 8 were registered. The 1 star is awarded for the flexibility to create a ninth place. The second star is for the space.A few rolls and a few slices of bread were laid out for the 8 planned people. A carafe with half a liter of orange juice, a thermos of coffee, about 8 small slices of cheese, some cold cuts (4 slices?) and some ham. Plus a plate full of salmon slices, a bowl of fruit salad and scrambled eggs, as well as a kind of jam. I would estimate the amount at 100 to a maximum of 150 ml.We were told we could order more. So we quickly asked for orange juice, the half liter was barely enough for 4. There was another half liter. Then we asked for butter, which wasn't there at all (and no margarine either). This also came quite quickly. Next we asked for coffee, as luckily there were two tea drinkers there, the pot was enough for the first round. But coffee had to be made again first. We asked for rolls, which then had to be baked. However, cold cuts, cheese, salmon and scrambled eggs had already been consumed due to the small quantities. We felt pretty stupid asking carefully again. Then there was some scrambled eggs and salmon again. Neither butter, cold cuts nor cheese were added, although it was obvious that everything had been eaten.Our disappointment was quite big as it was a birthday breakfast.The term gourmet breakfast was also misleading. We were expecting bakery rolls, perhaps even in variations, a whole glass of juice for everyone and enough cold cuts or cheese for everyone.The local bakers do it much better for half the price and the nice little coffee shop in Lange Wende does it four times better for the same price. Unfortunately it's not open on Sundays.We had dinner at Eleo in the evening with a different line-up but the same number of people and only paid slightly more. But we were all fed up and the quality and service there were more than exemplary.

Highly recommended - gladly again and again!We were cycling and used the guesthouse for one night. Very large double room with a couch corner and large bathroom and hallway area.Extensive breakfast, leaves nothing to be desired.Very friendly hostess.There is a very good restaurant nearby (200m).We can only recommend the guesthouse with a clear conscience.

A beautiful, well-designed accommodation. Very nice, familiar, friendly service. The waffles are very tasty.The rooms are beautifully designed in a Mediterranean style, clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

As part of a class reunion, I pitched my tent in the forest sauna for the second time.I don't know what could have been done better.

We spent one night there on our journey along the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path. We were warmly welcomed. Ms. Müller is very kind and attentive. The rooms are large and lovingly furnished. We were also able to safely put the bikes in the garage. The breakfast and also the breakfast room are prepared with great attention to detail. We'd love to come back. Thank you very much.
