Like many years before, we organized method seminars for writing scientific papers with the 12th graders in Heiligenhof. As always, the planning and implementation was competent, goal-oriented and stringent. The staff were friendly, always helpful and understanding. When I read about supposedly bad food in some reviews, all I can say is that with the standard for youth hostels you can't expect freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast or dumplings and roulades like on Sundays at grandma's, but there is always enough choice, in order to be able to eat adequately and healthily. Thanks to the Heiligenhof team!

Very well maintained and clean facility. I thought the food was great. Staff very friendly and accommodating.The drinks machines are very well stocked.The seminar room is functionally equipped. I would be happy to come back.

All I can say about this place is very unfriendly staff, so an older lady booked a course in Bad Kissingen that took place there at the Forest of Contemplation. You can say nicely and politely that it is a private parking lot, but no, the employee jumped in front of my car like a startled chicken and told me that I wasn't allowed to drive any further, the parking lot was private and she had me towed.There is no sign saying that it is a private parking lot and that you are not allowed to park there.A place I won't visit again because of unfriendliness.

Food was lousy, especially the vegetarian one. Too many old people in Bad Kissingen and the hostel is way too far up the mountain. It's really tiring to walk up there but pizza delivers. Good aura through healing crystals. If you used the elevator it almost crashed every time. Good wine machine in the cellar including a wine bar. Also good coffee machine.

Edit:!!!! Warning to all reviewers!!!!The owner contacted me via Google to ask me to delete the review because he felt his rights were being attacked. Luckily I fended it off successfully. But this treatment of a former guest is absolutely the worst for me. It felt to me like he was trying to "mute me" to improve his image on Google Maps. Absolutely below all cannon and a reason for me to change the rating from 2 to 1 star!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Original:Oh boy, here we go.The "single/double rooms" are sufficient. But the pillows are too thin, you sink straight through.I was here for a seminar and the first thing that was said was "Don't expect too much from the food, it's enough."Sufficient describes it well. But nothing was said about any lack of dedication. So the food was the biggest point of criticism for me. Aside from one of the worst machine coffees I've ever had. All in all I really can't give it more than 2 stars because the Heiligenhof really isn't recommended as accommodation for a holiday. You can only spend a night here if you are passing through. Really a shame.Cheers

Food was good, not so much on the first evening, but great after that. From there you can walk to the Kissalistherme in 20 minutes, great location.
