The staff is extremely well trained. Very friendly and attentive.The wellness area is very clean and the ambience in the area invites you to chill out.The room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom too. I would also like to highlight the accompanying bathing bag with the bathrobes. The breakfast buffet was also very rich and very well prepared. We'll be back...

We had reserved rooms for ourselves and many of our guests at the Hotel Celler Tor for our wedding in the nearby Eldingen Castle and were very satisfied with the collaboration. Everything was very uncomplicated, we were given a separate room for breakfast together and even a change of arrival day at short notice for some guests was no problem. The location suited us very well. Many of our guests also used the swimming area and were thrilled with it. The contact was personal and we felt very well looked after. We are happy to recommend the hotel!

A hotel that shouldn't exist in the 21st century.Old-fashioned rooms, arrogant and unfriendly boss, less than mediocre food and the worst thing is that you are constantly reminded of the hosts' stinginess. No water in the room, no flip flops in the room and much more.Clearly not recommended for young people.

Very nice hotel, breakfast buffet had a wide variety, everything tasted great. We can recommend the freshly made omelet.Staff very friendly especially the entire service team and the hotel management.We were invited to the wedding reception there and it was really enchanting.On the day of our arrival we would have been happy if we had been greeted with a smile by the receptionist.

Really good place to stay, I enjoyed the nice spa and the marvelous 3-course dinner afterwards. Easily of one the best places I’ve stayed at during my trips by car, through Germany.😊

Nice and good hotel for a short stay. Rooms are clean and reasonably spacious. Breakfast is fine but little variety on different days. The steak is really delicious. Highly recommended. Very good service for guests with ebikes. These may be stored in the garage where there are also facilities for charging. The pool looked cozy and comfortable. We were unable to use it due to lack of time.Unfortunately, the hotel is located next to a busy intersection, which can cause noise pollution during the nights and early mornings. The curtains also let in light in the early morning.

Surprisingly beautiful hotel, generous parking space, rooms absolutely takko, cuisine with a local touch ("Heidschnuckenbraten"), beautiful meeting room and world-class (!) service. Always on hand, unobtrusive, lightning fast, funny and quick-witted! A very smooth evaluation is therefore very easy. We will be back !

We (the couple) have been stopping at Celler Tor at least once a year for 3-4 days for about 6-7 years, as we visit our relatives. This year, however, we didn't go to Celler Tor in September because there was a trade fair in Hanover that week and the prices exploded. When I asked the manager of the house whether there was a small discount for private visits and because of the long-standing loyalty, I was told in a very dismissive and nervous tone that this would be impossible. We have always met very nice staff there. The boss can still learn a lot from this staff. Despite the trade fair, we still found a nice, cheaper hotel (comparable to the Celler Tor) where we will continue to stay in the future.

We were hotel guests and met another family for dinner.The hotel itself and the ambience are pleasant, as a hotel guest you have free access to the wellness area/pool, it is also open to strangers.The restaurant area is well furnished and the tables are equipped with fabric tablecloths. However, our meals were simple: we had steaks with side dishes, a pumpkin soup that cannot be defined in more detail, the quality of the food was -sorry- below average. Drinks were normal, but we skipped dessert. The breakfast served as a buffet the next morning was “normal”. So because of the food, the hotel is not necessarily recommended, but the staff at the reception (probably the owners) were definitely friendly and service-oriented.

4-star shower curtain: For a whopping 140 EUR you get a small, hermetically sealed, unventilated, musty single room, without any drinks, but with an 80s shower curtain that keeps you moist and warm while showering. For a business conference you get a huge, oversized, unheated 80s hall, with always attentive staff who circle around the participants with a rumbling drinks trolley around five times during (!) the conference. And a plastic container with pens and some Metaplan cards as a remarkable variation on a presenter's case. Sometimes unfriendly to rude, definitely inflexible. And for breakfast, the scrambled eggs are firmly and compactly packed into the bowl at 7 a.m. under the care of a young chef with a hat who occasionally checks on things. In short: I advise against it.

We celebrated a big birthday there with a special buffet that was highly praised by our guests.The service was exceptionally attentive, something that doesn't happen that often anymore.The cake buffet was brought by us and looked after by the service. The cake was cut at the buffet according to the size of our guests.Big or small, everyone got their wish fulfilled.A great day!
