On the way on the Weser cycle path.VerdenHotel Maske is more of a bed and breakfast in a former hotel.- Very friendly staff- Flexible arrival and departure- Room and bathroom absolutely ok. Hotel standard.- Bicycle garage with charging facility.-Various restaurants within 1.5-2km, also within walking distance.- Shop approx. 500m- Great breakfast, tasty and fresh.

I don't even know where to start.Premises/room: There were dead flies/crawlies on the bed. There were dust mice everywhere and there were brown and red stains on the bed cover. My wife got athlete's foot after our visit. It felt like the rooms weren't cleaned every day. There was a strange smell in the entire hallway. Overall, everything came across as very unhygienic.Food/Breakfast: Standard breakfast, nothing special. Some of the food was expired or even moldy!!! When I wanted to make myself a coffee, I noticed that the milk was already sour. In addition, all the cups/glasses in the entrance area near the kettle could not be used. They were still dirty or had leftover food in them.These are just a few things I can say about my stay.

The rooms were OK. The breakfast was simple without words. There was no buffet. The table was packed full for this. Cheese and sausage plate. Simplest meat sausage. The box was moldy. The sausage was already past its best. No cooked ham or anything like that, no scrambled eggs, instead there was a hard-boiled egg. This morning, my work colleague and I said that we were leaving. The landlady replied, that wouldn't work. Then she would have to bill us for tomorrow. The price of €69 per night is not possible at all.

We stayed in the suite for one night and only booked the evening before. We received a very warm welcome, it was quiet and very clean. The furnishings are a bit old, but that didn't bother us.The breakfast is provided at the desired time and was very extensive. Nothing was left to be desired.We'd love to come back. Absolute recommendation for cyclists on the Weser cycle path!

Called at short notice and was lucky, I was looking for a room with breakfast. There was also space for the bike.The fact that there are Ukrainian refugees in the hotel doesn't bother you, they are quiet, nice and inconspicuous.The room was very clean, unfortunately the towels were a bit hard. Beds very soft, could sleep peacefully.Breakfast was lovingly arranged, nothing was missing.If I came back I would probably go here too.Thanks
