We have been using the campsite for trade fairs for years. It is a simple and functional place. But it's all there. Simple but always clean toilets and showers, even if only containers. The location is perfect, it's only a few meters to the main entrance or west (entrance from the trade fair station). There are also shopping opportunities, a few meters on foot, it's better to pack your bike or scooter.

I stood there for the IAA. It couldn't be better right next to the exhibition center. Sanitary facilities are clean but just old.I would visit the next trade fair again with a caravan 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great campsite with a 5-minute walk to the trade fair entrance. Ideal for motor homes or caravans. Unfortunately only open during trade fairs.Gladly again

So first of all, it is a motorhome parking space and not a campsite! Camping flair = zero. But that is not necessary either. For me, the location is unbeatable, with it being a maximum of 5 minutes' walk from the West Entrance of the trade fair. At around €300 for the trade fair days, i.e. five nights, I pay as much as for one night in a hotel, so it's okay per se, albeit expensive.I have been coming to HM for around 30 years and to the parking space for around 25 years. During this time the place is constantly going backwards! The sanitary facilities are functionally OK, but are no longer even remotely modern and are more at the level of a clubhouse in the 70s. Over the decades there have been countless trade fairs, the Expo, many concerts, etc. I cannot understand why the operator, i.e. the city of Hanover, does not even provide new sanitary containers, which are really a manageable investment in terms of price.What's really bad is that there isn't even a functioning dishwashing room anymore, there's no water running there anymore and the staff describe this as unsolvable. I won't start washing dishes in the toilet or shower room.But since the Hannover Messe has also sunk into insignificance for me, I will no longer go to the square.

For the trade fair OK, toilets 50 euros deposit is not possible... Then you also have to look for which toilet house the key fits

There is enough space, the price... well, it's just a big city... €29 for a motorhome one night... plus €7 for electricity. Deposit for the toilet key is €50 in cash. Strangely enough, this is only required for the women's toilet. Gentlemen were on...

We were in Hanover for Agritechnica 2023 and slept in one of the boxes (containers).First of all, from the Messe/Laatzen train station you can walk through the tunnel above the dry streets directly to the Messe. From there it is about 100-150m to the campsite (and the containers).This is exactly the route that you have to walk well rested in the morning to the West1 entrance; you can hardly spend the night any closer.The beds are clean and comfortable, there is a duvet, a pillow, refrigerator, fan heater, blankets, bedside lamp, clothes rack and 2 chairs. So everything you need to stay overnight is there. The shower and toilet are housed in containers as shared facilities. As far as the weather permitted, everything was clean and working.But there are a few compromises to be made, my colleague was showering a few minutes before me and was really excited that there was always hot water (as helpers in the Ahr Valley we were used to cold showers) and when I was showering he came... .Cold water only. We were also a bit unlucky because we forgot to turn on the heating, so our container was cold when we arrived.Nevertheless, it was a very good place to stay overnight and it was hard to beat the price at the time of the trade fair.The proximity to the trade fair and the train station in particular are simply brilliant. Gladly again.

We were there with the campervan and reserved a place by phone (trade fair!!), the place was easy to find, the service was okay and helpful. Sanitary facilities (containers!) were very clean, and there is also a bread roll service. Completely fine for one or two nights. Clear recommendation 👍🏻
