The room was ok, the shower and toilet were in the hallway. Okay for two nights. Unfortunately there was a problem with the drains, which smelled strongly, which was very unpleasant for a long time. Breakfast is totally ok, dinner is the same. Few food options nearby. For football fans: located directly at the Hannover 96 stadium ;-)

What's the point of this crap?300€ for nothingBad service, dirty rooms (sticky floors or moldy corners).A pure disappointment. The beds weren't made when I came into the room. Some lights were broken and there were animals and spider webs everywhere (we couldn't find the final boss). Generally a very bad place for school trips or something similar.

Unfortunately disappointing**My stay was anything but pleasant. The room was dirty, the bed linen seemed used and the air in the room was stuffy. In addition, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. It's a shame, I would have expected more!

I was accommodated in the youth hostel of the Hannover Guild for a vocational course and the DJH team simply ignored the booking of double rooms, which are more than appropriate for adults on a vocational training course, and divided us into the four-bed rooms in the old building , which are even smaller in terms of area than the double rooms. The reason given to us and the school that made the booking was that they were completely booked, even though there was no sign of any other guests throughout the day.For me it was a complete impudence to so brazenly ignore the booking requirements, which were definitely not made at short notice (1/2 year).

Some rooms were moldy and there were dead animals everywhere, there were even wasp nests in front of some rooms, the service wasn't good at all and you could only drink water for free in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening.A small bottle of water cost €2 at the machine, the location was really nice, it was close to the city.In some rooms the light was even broken!!I was there on a school trip, not a good recommendation for around €200 or €300

A classic youth hostel. We came with 3 adults.Room ok.WiFi only in the entrance area.Breakfast still has significant potential for development. There are certainly cheaper or better alternatives in Hanover,It felt like savings were being made everywhere.

A standard youth hostel in Germany. Cleanliness ok, room as expected. The staff is great, everyone is nice and helpful. There is a great ice cream machine in the foyer. However, the connection to public transport is currently not that good... You currently have to walk about a kilometer from the train station.

Large youth hostel that houses many sports groups. This meant it was noisy at 12:30 a.m. when you checked in late.We were there with the family, the JH is beautifully situated in the countryside with a large area, but a bit isolated from buses and trains. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast is fine.A toilet in the room would have been nice for the price (€81.60 / night, 1 adult, 2 small children), the shower urgently needs new joints.

Great youth hostel with delicious food. In a great location in the countryside. Directly on the Ihme, the Swisslife Hall, the Maschsee, the stadium... and the Kaiserschänke.
