Totally outrageous!In the evening when I was getting ready to go to sleep, a guy suddenly appeared in my room and said he had booked this room. HOW CAN THIS BE????? You get your room and the corresponding key at the reception. Then how can someone stand in my room and say it's his?? Because then he must have got the key too. So you definitely do NOT feel safe. It was locked and yet someone comes into the room?? INSURANCE!!!!!!!

A top location right next to the best restaurants in the city. The reception was extremely personable and very friendly. The furnishings were completely sufficient in the rooms. The large shower is super great!!! The back yard has seating for smoking. Gladly again, thank you!

People don't speak English or any language other than German. Very complicated.Cleanliness is excellent. The perfect location to get around by public transport.It has no breakfast or room.Everything very clean.

I suppose it might serve you well on location if the price is very low, and the pizza restaurant looks great. However…reception closes at 11pm with no way of checking in after that if your flight is delayed. Cleanliness is just not up to standard. Really grubby room and corridors smelly. Had been cleaned, just not very well. Staff totally uninterested. And yes it’s noisy - no aircon so window open, people shouting and bins wheeled around in the yard behind. I should have paid attention to the low rating here.

The location of the hotel is very central near the main train station and the pedestrian zone. The environment itself - rather questionable. Empty Galeria Kaufhof, which attracts all sorts of questionable characters, and a pizzeria downstairs in the hotel (the smell wafts into the rooms).The entrance area of the hotel looks very cold and uninviting (the decoration doesn't help either - nothing against gray as a furnishing color - but there is just too much gray here). The hallways and rooms urgently need a new coat of paint. There were some black streaks on all the walls in my room. Another disadvantage: it was very warm on the day I arrived - there was no fan in the room - when I asked, I was told that a lot of things were stolen in the hotel (not a good answer). Maybe you should then consider having air conditioning installed.The wall light above the bed didn't work - the ceiling light was the only light source.Other minus points:- no socket right next to the bed (if you want to charge your smartphone/laptop, you have to crawl under the table)- TV at an awkward angle so that the window cannot be opened completely- loose power strip- Paper cups for coffee/tea (not exactly environmentally friendly)- when I wanted to check out, I was asked what I wanted (the lady was outside talking on the phone and smoking)- no breakfast - also no recommendation as to where you can have a good breakfast nearbyOkay for one night - not for more.

Great hotel, good, safe and central location and cheap for 79 euros. Kettle with tea and coffee available, rooms sufficiently large and modernly equipped. Do not offer breakfast, but the surrounding area offers enough options. I would come again!

We were there for a "Maschsee weekend" and from there we easily got to the Dürener or Döhrener tower by train...rest on foot...the service is helpful and friendly...big disadvantage: you shouldn't stay in one in summer temperatures stay overnight on the upper floors

Very central location, right in the city center.Double room was a bit small, but clean.Walk-in shower.The curved angle in the wall could perhaps be swapped for a coat hook if the opportunity arises.Otherwise everything was great.

My train was late and I arrived on Sunday at 6:15 p.m. The reception was neither manned nor was there a telephone number where anyone could be reached. I tried in vain to announce my delay at 5:45 p.m. but couldn't reach anyone. I had to take another hotel for the night. The following day there were only discussions that I needed to understand, no apology, just nonsensical accusations.I strongly advise against staying in this establishment.

We started in room 50, the heating in the bathroom didn't work, but the bathroom smelled extremely like sewage/manure. So the window had to be open to be able to endure it at all. But in winter it was incredibly cold. The smell naturally wafted into the room. In the room itself there was a socket hanging out of the wall, and the heating didn't get really warm either because it was full of air. It sounded like there was a waterfall next to you. At the reception they said they didn't know about the smell. It's even on Google. Everything was blamed on the gastro. But it doesn't stink there.The windows in the room were moldy, swollen and broken. Likewise in the bathroom.After complaining we were given room 46, the light worked (see someone else's review) but the screen was also still broken. They said it happened “the day before yesterday”. I confronted the receptionist about it being on Google. Then it was like “jajajaja. This happened again”Room 46 was very dirty, the bathroom was full of hair and then silverfish came towards me.It was all just underground. There was no refund. Despite the lack of services. We couldn't even take a shower on the first day because we couldn't stand it in the bathroom.The only good thing about this dump is the location, but there are other hotels in the city.We definitely won't be coming back.

Hotel that does not know customer service. I found myself on the street following a late flight. No message sent to warn of closing time or leave keys under 'code'. No emergency contact solution for reception or owner. So I had to find a room in Hanover during the exhibition period = mission impossible less than 20 km from the city.The next day, after explaining the problem to the receptionist, he explained that he did not care and did not offer any solution and/or compensation.Tiny room, average cleanliness, no service!This is a dormitory run by an employee from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Don't expect any quality service from this hotel, just a good geographical location.Shame !
