The staff was extremely friendly and tried to ensure that the guests had a pleasant stay. What was immediately noticeable, however, was the gentleman's dachshund tie, which you could also purchase there. After a short research, the owner of the hotel chain was classified as "very conservative". For that reason: never again!The rooms were surprisingly large and generally very clean. There was a lot of mold waiting for us on the bathtub. In addition, the shower enclosure was not tight, which is why the bathroom was flooded with water after showering. In the 90s the rooms were certainly state of the art. Now I had to clamp the cosmetic mirror to the wall because the mirror was in danger of falling out. A lamp above the bed hung from the wall so you could easily reach the cables. An absolute no-go with children! There were small PostIts with which you could give information to the staff. Great idea! An attempt was also made to at least attach the lamp above the bed, but unfortunately the gap only became smaller, not gone.The pool was again/still broken. At least there was a discount for this. But the sauna area was really appealing. Only the reading provided was full of conspiracy theories. Unbelievable... I've never experienced anything like this!Acceptable as accommodation for a trip to the theme parks, but there are certainly better alternatives.The location is extremely quiet, good for hiking holidays. For everything else you have to rely on the car.All in all, the staff was excellent, the house was clearly showing its age, and the display of political ideologies was subpar.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed that the swimming pool technology was broken and as I learned from further reviews, this wasn't the first time. That was very annoying because that's exactly why I booked this hotel because of the wellness area. (There was a mini financial discount for this, but that didn't bring the swimming pool back.) Unfortunately, a lot of other things were getting old and our room, which was incredibly spacious, wasn't particularly comfortable. The room with single beds was reminiscent of youth hostels. When the windows were opened, beetles fell into the room and unfortunately the windows were not cleaned. There were always dirt stains on the walls and furniture that apparently hadn't been repaired. Unusual given the high prices. In the sauna area there was a rain shower from which water constantly ran and next to it there was a strange, unrenovated room in the pipe version. I also missed 4 stars plus things like personal care products in the bathroom. The bathroom was a highlight, as was the separate toilet. Dinner a la carte and then cocktails at the bar were very good and the service was top. All employees were very, very friendly at all times. Beds - we slept very well and there was a reasonable breakfast buffet. So we were reconciled when we left. However: The prices are high for this area and what is on offer is not luxurious enough. That annoyed me the most. The investor has to invest there, but you have the feeling that he is just extracting money. Hence the few stars. The staff was worth many stars.

Good hotel with great value for money. The rooms are large, spacious and clean. The wellness area is very nice with 3 different saunas and the food is very tasty.The hotel staff is particularly great. Extremely friendly, helpful and very child-friendly.It was a great stay, would love to come back!

They only get 2 stars as we had booked that hotel because of the pool but it was closed for maintenance...We were not offered compensation.The fitness machine was worn and lacked lubrication. The 2 nights my sister came to live next to a noisy baby and the third night there were people having a party in the room so she didn't get much sleep during the stay, luckily I lived across the hall and didn't hear it so much.Otherwise, it was a nice hotel with large rooms, good breakfast buffet, and nice dinner.All in all a place I could stay again, I just want to ask before I book if they plan to close the pool during my stay.

It was a nice weekend at the hotel. Nice rooms, pool, sauna, everything available. Food in the restaurant was very good. Service and reception were all very friendly. Gladly again.

Super nice hotel. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in the guest house and were very satisfied. The buffet in the morning was sufficient, but fresh and of very high quality. We enjoyed the evening buffet upon arrival (after 700km), which was excellent. Of course you can argue about the price, but our conclusion is that it was worth it. After Mr. Hornet visited us at night, we called reception who was with us within 2 minutes and removed the hornet alive. Thanks for that😌

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath. In terms of design, the reception, the dishes and everything are pretty old. Nevertheless a nice hotel in combination with the Serengeti Park. There is a small wellness area with a sauna that you can use well, the 2 saunas plus a steam bath are enough. There is a tennis court and equipment that you can rent. The food was very tasty and plentiful, with a choice of normal coffee at the table or cappuccino etc. from the machine.

So first I would say the positive: The staff is very friendly and the food is okay and the room is very clean and bright.Now for the negative, when we booked 2 days with dinner everything was great.When we arrived we found out the pool was closed because the pump was broken, but when we booked there wasn't any information so okay when the pool would be open again the lady told me on August 23rd 24th I had a great whole stay without it Swimming pool didn't even get compensation.Because near the hotel I really don't mind if anyone has children, I couldn't go swimming with the children on the days.So I was in the room in the evening, like everyone else, I wanted to watch a movie online, but the TV was stupid, the TV only had Netflix, but they all had no internet, then I thought I'd watch it on my cell phone, but then the surprise was that the WiFi signal was up to me From then on I didn't go to the room door anymore because I got the room at the back.So I asked the staff if there was anything they could do, and no problem. I ran back and forth for 2 days and nothing happened. Cell phone communication is dead because the hotel is in the country.At dinner, which isn't cheap, it's 45 euros per person, so the drinks cost extra for the buffet, which I think is too much if you're already paying for dinner and then have to pay afterwards, I don't think it's that great
