Graznhof

We spent 6 nights in the holiday apartment, which is located next to the guesthouse. Our host Monika was super nice and we were given a warm welcome. Breakfast was already on the table every morning. Everything was there for us, a fresh egg every morning and we asked about any wishes -> TOP! Unfortunately we have to deduct a point for the beds. The pillows and mattresses were quite sagging, we spent one night in the double bed, then we had to move to the pull-out couch. With every movement the bed made such loud creaking noises that the other person woke up. There is a lot of catching up to do here, but otherwise it was a nice vacation for us and a great location, surrounded by mountains.

We have enjoyed coming to the Graznhof for several years. Monika, her family and even the dog always give us a warm welcome. She provides a great room, it is clean, tidy and traditionally Bavarian furnished, where we feel particularly comfortable. The breakfast buffet, which is prepared daily based on individual requests, meets every taste. Monika also has great advice on excursion destinations and much more. The Graznhof is perfectly located to reach many tourist attractions in a short time. We are already looking forward to seeing you again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Pension Graznhof for an overnight stay last fall. We were warmly welcomed by lovely Monika. She also had great tips for places to visit and places to eat in the area. The double room was very clean and comfortably furnished. There was also something for everyone at breakfast! We'd love to come back!

The current state differs significantly from the expected state!Caution is advised as important information has not been fully provided. I would like to note a few points here that may help future visitors and give the hostess an opportunity to make improvements.It won't help anyone if these issues aren't addressed and guests have to cancel their vacation early.Here are the points:One of the holiday apartments is not in the main building. Why wasn't this communicated in advance?Lighting conditions: Why is there not enough light? We had to remove the lampshade to have any light in the living room. This was covered on top with a 2-3 cm thick layer of black-gray dust that apparently hadn't been cleaned for years. We had to convert a small lamp to provide light in the dining area as it was so dark you couldn't see your food.The couch is unacceptable! It is mottled and has yellow and white edges. Why isn't it replaced or at least covered with a blanket?Basic supplies such as soap, toilet paper, garbage bags and tea towels are missing. What should you do when you arrive in the evening and urgently need to use the toilet or, as in my friend's case, she has her period and there are no trash bags in the bathroom? That's just uncomfortable.There is no indication of the noise level. This is not mentioned, especially when the windows are closed. You can hear the highway very loudly and are also disturbed by trucks regularly driving past (approx. 15-20 m away). This makes it almost impossible to relax in the evening, and in the annex, which feels like a basement, you feel cramped and deceived by your hostess.The photos on the website do not match reality and the yard is messy. There are things everywhere that don't belong there. Why is that? This gives a wrong impression.The difference between what is expected and what actually exists is too large and needs to be addressed quickly. Otherwise fewer guests will come.Another little tip: Take photos of the individual holiday apartments and add them to the respective descriptions. We spent two nights in the beautiful Graznhof. I would happily recommend the Graznhof! We received a very friendly welcome there. Our room in the former farm was very comfortably furnished and the breakfast was rich and really good! Many thanks to the Unterreiner family for the two wonderful days!
