Unfortunately, the hotel could not fulfill its promise. We had booked a Grand Suite, as shown when booking. Unfortunately, it was uninhabitable for the night we booked due to the very strong smell of dogs. Unfortunately, the hotel was only able to provide us with a much smaller room. When we left, our complaint was succinctly dismissed with the comment that we were not entitled to a specific room, even though the Grand Suite was pictured when we booked. The employee was very incompetent and they didn't want to make the boss available to talk to us - This is how you solve problems with dissatisfied guests - Congratulations to the hotel management. What went well with this was a disappointing breakfast buffet with unmotivated waiting staff. Not worth the money for the asking price!!!!

During our visit the entire street was open and there was construction work going on in the hotel. We were not informed about this!

Old castle with an exclusive location directly on the lake. Currently characterized by extensive construction work, which is why the parking situation is currently unsatisfactory. Room clean and large, bed with canopy. Just like you would imagine in an old castle. Unfortunately the pillow was very uncomfortable: a ball with large chunks in it.Large lakeside terrace with wonderful sunsets.

We have visited the restaurant several times during our vacation and have always been very satisfied. We cannot rate the rooms. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Dogs are welcome. We prefer to sit on the terrace directly on the lake or, when the temperatures are cooler, in the winter garden with a view of the lake. My husband had the excellent onion roast with hearty cheese spaetzle, I had the delicious Wienerschnitzel with potato salad and cranberries. As always, we enjoyed it very much and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Spectacular hotel within the walls of an almost 1000-year-old castle. Well-kept and large rooms, but anyone who expects new building standards behind these thick walls is in the wrong place here. Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Located right on the water and very quiet, the construction site didn't bother us. A place to relax and feel good.

The hotel is very beautiful by the lake, the prices are generally high due to the tourist attraction. The hotel was being repaired during my visit, so the toilet was outside the building and a mobile cabin.
