The bed makes noise with every movement, it grinds and creaks endlessly. Very noisy rooms, you can hear the mosquitoes in the next room. As far as cleanliness is concerned, it's not nice when you think that the sink is scratched and when you use it for the first time you realize that it's mostly the hair from wherever the previous tenant came from. I booked this accommodation due to a lack of local knowledge. Next time I visit I will invest more money and book a real hotel.

Absolute disgrace: the tiny room was full of dirt (for example, the small skylight was full of cobwebs and dirt, when you got out of the shower you had to put your shoes on immediately so as not to be dirtier than …

What you get here for your money is really beyond compare. We knew in advance that we couldn't expect a luxury cabin for the relatively low price of €65 per person per night, but what we got exceeded all expectations. The apartment is totally run down, carelessly furnished with random pieces of furniture and totally rancid. The linoleum floor was thrown into the rooms like a carpet and is curling in every corner. The furniture is shabby, yellowed bathroom cabinets, old curtains with stains, the ceiling light in one room doesn't work because a light bulb was stolen (possibly by other guests). The WiFi doesn't work properly and neither do either of the two TVs in the rooms. It's at least basically clean, which unfortunately can't save anything in the overall situation. The only plus point is the unbeatable central location; It is to be expected that it will be loud here in the evenings and at night until the early hours of the morning. Overall, it's really a disgrace and definitely too expensive.

So the bed was very uncomfortable. Then at times there was no hot water for showering. The WiFi didn't work properly either.

I once reserved a room there. But not signposted. But underneath there was a delicious currywurst.

If you plan to forego hygiene, order and structure for a weekend, then the Sleep In Hamburg St. Pauli is perfect. I would advise all other future guests to do something else! After I entered the room, I didn't smell the smell of toilet freshness, which would have been unpleasant, no, the smell of a "train station toilet" awaited me. No wonder, the bathroom “door” (a sliding door attached to a makeshift bracket) was wide open. For just under €400/4 nights I also got a mattress that couldn't have been thinner. You never stop learning! 🫶🏻
