We celebrated our wedding at the Hercynen Berghaus and it was simply fantastic! What the hosts Annett and Kristian set up exceeded all of our expectations. From the first conversation to the big day, everything was perfectly organized. The decoration was lovingly and detailed, the food was an absolute highlight - from the champagne reception to dinner, it was simply delicious. Our guests were also impressed by the cozy and very clean rooms. The warmth of Annett and Kristian and the unique atmosphere of the mountain house made our day unforgettable.What's certain: it wasn't the last time we were here! Anyone looking for an unforgettable celebration in a unique atmosphere is in the best hands at the Hercynen Berghaus.Many thanks again to Annett and Kristian for this perfect day!

The quiet location, the characterful house, the nice, extremely helpful innkeepers and not to forget the excellent, varied and generous dinner.We just wanted to stay overnight while passing through…... but then threw our travel plans overboard and spontaneously stayed for a whole week!

After five wonderful days with you Anett and Kristian, I would like to thank you again from home for your hospitality. With new energy and input from your very, very good kitchen, where you cook with a lot of love and passion, I'm excited to see how long it will take me to show up at your place again. The trimmings with you and your great four-legged friends were so good for me and my dog Mailo and my daughter's dog Elli. We will definitely come back to you soon. A wonderfully quiet place and a beautiful mountain house with really friendly and helpful hosts. The host cooks a delicious meal in the evening and in the morning there is a good, lovingly prepared breakfast. The hosts love to talk to the guests, you feel like you're part of a big family!

Absolutely clear recommendation! A vacation is completed here. It's super familiar and family-friendly, the rooms are super clean and the breakfast is great - every table gets its own “buffet”. If you want, you can even have a warm meal in the evening. You can get drinks at any time, there is a library and games for free use. There is seating outside to end the day comfortably. We'd love to come back again.It's a mountain house, so you have to walk/cycle/drive uphill. This should be taken into account ;)

We were able to organize catering for a big event for them both. Directly at the beautiful mountain house. An absolute tranquility pool in a prime location. The two are totally likeable. We can recommend this great mountain house to everyone and look forward to more great events. Simply great!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, the Hercynen Berghaus is the right place for you.But it's not just the peace and quiet in this fine place that makes it special: Annett and Kristian's hospitality is very warm and simply great. Our dog is also a 100 percent fan!The two of them always have time for a chat - about all sorts of exciting topics.The food is a pleasure - top culinary services from the kitchen! Was wonderful.We were guests for a week and started our journey home completely relaxed.The Berghaus with the great bosses up there is definitely worth a trip again!And not to be underestimated: the excursion destinations in the area are also great 😉.
