We had a very nice weekend at the Heitlinger Hof. We particularly enjoyed the wine tasting with Gutam and the golf lesson with Kate. Both convey their expertise with passion and fun!

Very cleverly worded websites, so it was not obvious that the restaurants were outside the hotel. Wine cellar also closes at 6:00 p.m. This means there is no way to sit together comfortably. There was a wine cabinet and a coffee machine - but according to my requirements, this has the character of a youth hostel.When asked about this, the receptionist reacted unreasonably harshly. We then arrived early.

Basically a very nicely located hotel with a wonderful view and a great restaurant. Unfortunately I had a lot of ants in the room, which definitely shouldn't be there (bed, desk, floor). The hotel staff didn't really care, other than a tired “OK”. In addition, the internet is not usable, which makes working in the room impossible.

For the price of this accommodation I normally stay at the Park Inn at Alexanderplatz. So I was curious to see what kind of luxury one would experience on the flat land. To put it briefly: none! The rooms are of standard size and all face busy main roads. Until late at night and again very early on, that highway feeling. Two walls in the room had been repaired in an amateur way with paint or plaster. The saltpeter bloomed in the shower. I realize you can't completely renovate a room every few weeks, but a clean toilet brush should be standard (see photos). There was a self-service coffee machine in the foyer. It was already switched off at 8 p.m. (by which time the rabbit and the fox had already said good night). The infrastructure in the area is otherwise very poor - you may have to drive 30km to Sinsheim.The breakfast buffet was tasty and sufficient. Unfortunately, this was the only positive thing about this house.

On June 6th, 2024 we traveled with 2 people. The atmosphere was very cool, the reception by the "hotel manager" was very sober and objective. Apparently it was not possible to enter the second person's correct name on the room card. When asked about this, the young man, with little experience, reacted very disrespectfully. Professionals certainly react differently to mistakes.On the way to the rooms, we had rooms 22 + 23, there was an unsightly large white spot on the floor in the upper hallway. There is no feeling of well-being.When we got to the rooms, we found the following condition:Room 22:- Stick bug, in the left corner of the room near the door- Limescale stains under the vanity- 2 pieces of vermin in the area of the bathroom doorRoom 23:- Toilet paper holder without toilet paper- Bedside lamp without functionHousekeeping is obviously not doing its jobserious.The coffee machine in the lounge area was also not cleaned (8:15 a.m. on June 7th, 2024)When checking out, we pointed out the room price and asked for the deficiencies to be checked. This was promised. However, and we only discovered after a phone call, the invoice was created and emailed before arrival.The only highlight was dinner at Albatros.Repetition factor = 0%

5 days of golf, great package. Not directly on the golf course, but close to everything and with a great shuttle service. Partner immediately became a long-distance member. We'll be back!

Great hotel room. Very good breakfast. Nice staff. BUT:Unfortunately, the hotel reception could not be reached by phone several times on Saturday evening around 7:30 p.m., even though it was said that you could easily call until 8 p.m. Unfortunately, nothing could be reserved for hotel guests in the Albatros Restaurant on Saturday evening. What was annoying was that when booking the thermal spa packages in Sinsheim through the hotel, the sauna was simply booked without this being necessary or desired. We also found the surcharge of 17.65% for simply booking the thermal baths through the hotel to be disproportionately high in relation to the price of booking the Therne Sinsheim directly.In principle we would come back, even if it was or is far from perfect.

The location of the hotel is very beautiful.Great location and quite quiet.The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable.The reception is usually not staffed. The bell must always be rung if necessary.There is no staff at breakfast, only to clear up and fill the buffet.The staff makes a very unloving and unmotivated impression.Unfortunately, the reservations for dinner and golf only partially worked out.It's also a shame that the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant or bar to have a drink in the evening.We were a little disappointed. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the Heitlinger Hof is unfortunately not among the front runners.
