Cons.1. The tram tracks run as close as possible to the hotel, so when the tram travels, there is a very strong rumble, the walls and floor really shake. It is also very noisy from cars passing by. That’s how calm my husband is, but even he was irritated.2. The room has one window, which is deeply recessed into the wall; there is not enough daylight. The room is 30 m2, or maybe more, but there are only two lamps on the ceiling with one insufficiently powerful lamp inside, plus the lampshades themselves take away the light, since they are made of straw. There is no more light: no floor lamp, no sconces on the bedside tables. In the evening it’s generally like being in a crypt. The kitchen unit is also without light, the light is only in the hood. If you cook something, it’s not enough.3. Small double bed, if your partner is 2 m tall and large, then this is problematic. The pillows are uncomfortable, the mattress more or less.4. The dining table is unstable, round on one leg, wobbly, and uncomfortable to eat.Perhaps the situation is different in other rooms, but unfortunately this was the case for us.Pros.The room is clean, there are all kitchen utensils, but I would like to add a vegetable grater and normal kitchen knives.The bathroom is large, cozy, lots of light.

Really nice apartments. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back! The location is really great. Everything can be reached on foot and parking spaces are also available in the courtyard.

Unique location right in the center. Very nice reception on site. Beautiful furnishings, everything clean, with the large casement windows and the view of the city it feels like you are in the middle of Paris. Absolutely recommended!

Fantastic apartment in Mainz. Super luxurious, spacious and well equipped and so close to all the sights in Mainz which is a great city to visit. A special mention to Marko who looked after us so well. I’d make a special trip to visit here in the future. Highly recommended.

If I visit Mainz again, I will definitely be a guest there again! A really great hotel, we were there in a group and had two apartments next to each other with a connecting door - that was just perfect! Very modern, beautifully furnished and yet very charming with attention to detail. Comfortable beds, there was even bottled coffee powder for the coffee machine - a dream. The tram was probably loud, even at night, but that's just part of an older house in the center.Highly recommended!

This is not a hotel. It is an airbnb. No staff on site. No AC, No blinds or other window coverings (rooms look directly into other apartment), shower was missing tiles and filthy. Booked a 2 night stay. Condition of apartment was subpar so we stayed somewhere else instead. Didn’t get our money back even though we walked in and walked right back out. Very loud room. Apartment host made us feel uncomfortable. Didn’t feel safe there. I don’t know how this place has good reviews especially since it’s expensive.

We called to arrive at this specific time because we have a baby who needs to eat porridge. When we arrived our rooms weren't ready and this isn't the fault of the cleaning ladies, but rather their organization. The camp bed that was also brought in because there were three of us was very hardOtherwise it was actually very nice as it also had trays and a hidden jewelry standUnfortunately, the night was very loud because of the roads, trains and buses and it was raining

We were in Mainz for a short vacation (4 days) and are very satisfied with the hotel. Very nice building, rooms have been modernized but the old building charm has not been lost. The price is not cheap for the quality.Unfortunately we had a room on the third floor on the side where the tram ran, which was very loud at night even with the windows closed. But that is the only point of criticism.Parking costs per day in the inner courtyard of the hotel 25 euros.

Location was quite good as well as the building but the room was unfortunately very noisy! Trams are passing just outside non stop (also during nighttime). The room was vibrating! Given the price this is not acceptable. On the flip side, parking was good, room was clean and it’s pet friendly!
