Breakfast good and particularly worth mentioning. Otherwise it's a bit old, you could do more with it. Cleanliness okay. Perfectly sufficient for an overnight stay. We would do it again.

I can say that it is the cheapest place in the region in terms of price. You can stay in a caravan for 50 Euros. Breakfast is included. In general, it is a nostalgic guesthouse. I liked it. The breakfast was also very good.

So the caravan was great. Unfortunately, the water in the wet room/sink was not explained (newbie to camping). The forecourt thing could also be a little better. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful👍👍👍. We would go there again 👍👍👍

If you need a bed for little money and are desperate, this is the right place for you.As others have already described, the whole house smells very musty and spaky. Sometimes it's also for cats' urine, because they can get into the house at any time.In addition to these unpleasant smells, cigarette smells also draw smells into the house.Because that's what the owners do there all the time - smoke.Everything is very old and worn out.Our child had spit up in the evening and unfortunately the entire bedding had to be changed. The new bedding didn't smell very fresh and it disgusted us. I was slightly irritated when I heard the sentence “you can turn the mattress over” and realized that it had been turned over several times. If I had to guess where and how old the mattress was, I would say bulky waste and 10 years. Because that's what it was like.Otherwise, the general cleanliness was not as if such a location should be offered as accommodation for foreign guests.I didn't see any fire extinguishers anywhere either. The whole thing around it is also really shabby. There's stuff everywhere like it's a leftover yard.Then I would like to say something about friendliness. I saw a woman and she tried hard. The man, however, and I also see this from other reviews, even though I exchanged words with him, is simply a stinker. I can't understand where ratings of 8.8 on booking come from.Oh and don't forget: the accommodation is actually in a ditch. So there's nothing wrong with a view of the mountains from a balcony.It's better to spend €30 more per night!

Fantastic location above Ramsau with a beautiful view of the mountains. A pension that is getting old, but that's not a bad thing. But if you're sensitive you shouldn't come here. The breakfast was, as described, rich and there was something for everyone.If the cleanliness were better I would give a different rating because the price is also very good for this region.

Went with low expectations after reading other reviews. Was pleasantly surprised.Pros:-My room was clean and spacious.-The price is unbeatable with most accommodation nearby 3x the price.-Hosts were very friendly-Breakfast was delicious. Typical German breakfast.Cons:-WiFi not great. Mobile service wasn’t great in the area. Don’t go to Berchtesgaden to stay on your phone. If you need to work, book somewhere else.-Beer was warm. There was plenty of space in the fridge, but the beer stayed in crates. After 19 kms hiking, a cold beer would’ve been nice.Highly recommend if you are in need of a basic room on a budget and don’t need fancy.

It was really good for the price. Warm adjustable batteries, soft convenient bed, hot shower, night light, kettle in the hallway and the sound of mountain brook... A sound, restful sleep is guaranteed. In the morning - breakfast for every taste. And we don’t need anything else for one night’s stay.Country view of the hotel and the area around it - that's just guest house, not a hotel. A place to spend the night and move on.And the owners don't speak English, maybe they just understand. If it's important to you - keep looking for something more suitable.The only thing that bothered us was the strong smell of animals (cows or cats ) and the difficult entrance at night. The gate could be made wider and mark the entrance.

Not recommendable. Bad smell spread throughout the house. Our room was nicely furnished but completely dirty. Endless dust, long black hair everywhere. When you say it's dirty, 3 people look at you like you've done something wrong. Several flies at breakfast and just a feeling of disgust. We are very disappointed. Service was also strange and rather unfriendly.

First of all: All the negative comments seem to me like people don't look at pictures or reviews beforehand. A lot of things are already well written here.The overall appearance is old, rustic and dingy, but the inside is clean enough and the two owners are extremely friendly.We would come again for 1 or 2 nights but not for a longer stay. Top prices!

I was a motorcycle traveler and was looking for an overnight stay in the rain and 6 degrees Celsius...It was half past seven in the evening when the very nice woman on the phone said that she had a room available with a shower and heating.In the evening I was kindly given a bottle of beer by the host and he even brought me something to eat in my room. I was totally amazed at how nice these people were and really enjoyed my time there.When I went out the door early and the rain clouds disappeared, I saw the great view and enjoyed the great breakfast.For just 35 euros including breakfast, a must for all travelers on a tight budget.My absolute recommendation!!

I don't understand some posters' complaining.Then book a 5 star hotel next time.Our stay from February 24th to February 26th left nothing to be desired.The warmth of our host ensured that a family atmosphere was created. The hosts were very friendly.The breakfast was very rich, adequate and the price was quite affordable. There are many comments that say that it is dirty and old, but in my opinion what they are looking for is a hotel, it is more like a guest house, and I don't mean that as a bad thing, it feels cozy. The bathroom is quite large, new and clean. Stunning views. Just know that the owners only speak German heheI would return without hesitation.

Not recommended! We were only there one night and are glad we didn't stay a minute longer.The owner was super unfriendly and the accommodation was more than disappointing. Starting from the smell that appears in the house to the dirty rooms. The bathroom probably hasn't been cleaned for several weeks, there's dirt and cobwebs in every corner. The furnishings in the house are very old-fashioned and shabby.The one star for the diverse and delicious food and for the nice gentleman who goes out of his way to take care of everything.

I would book with this very warm and helpful person and their sweet guesthouse again in a heartbeat! If you expect luxury, go to a hotel. If you are looking for a great breakfast, super helpful people, dog-friendly accommodation and a wonderfully rustic facility at a great price - then come here :) always happy!

Very nice, clean rooms in the King Ludwig style in the 450 year old building.Loving breakfast, friendly service, fried eggs available upon request, beautifully renovated bathroom with slider and great shower, fantastic, I'll definitely come back to the beautiful hiking area

Worst experience. The host was drunk when I arrived. There is no hot water in the room so I can’t take a shower. The sound insulation is so bad that I didn’t fall asleep almost whole night . The breakfast seems not fresh.Not recommended

We discovered this accommodation by chance from a provider and booked it.As we could see, Haus Mühlgraben was a good choice. Friendly welcome, simple normal room with a large bathroom across the hall. Good breakfast buffet style.The owner was/is very friendly and gives good tips.In short, we really liked it and felt comfortable.If you're not looking for a luxury bunker and want to be comfortable, you're in good hands here.
