After a ten-hour drive, we arrived at the hotel around eight in the evening and were told that the room we had reserved for nine months was already occupied. The owner accidentally gave the room to other guests. We stood there with small children aged one and four... We were offered an alternative that was out of the question for us. Something like this simply shouldn't happen. Despite repeated requests to confirm the free cancellation, which was discussed with the owner over the phone, there was no reaction from the operator. We drove to another accommodation that same evening. A lot of unnecessary effort after an already stressful day. This is much better!

Rooms only superficially cleaned, cobwebs and their inhabitants everywhere. On cupboards, edge of bed…thick layer of dust. For breakfast every day there is the same discounter sausage, ham, cheese, rolls... all in disposable packaging. More waste is generated here than at home. Menu minimal (three dishes) if the restaurant is open at all. Bicycle garage cannot be locked. It's actually a shame that everything here is managed so heartlessly without caring about the guests. The area itself is great for bike tours and the inn can be recommended “Well, for one night” but not for more.

Were there at 1:56 p.m. ...doors were locked, check in at 2 p.m. was given, phone number called at the door..answer check in only at 2 p.m. first have to check whether the room is ready...it was 2 p.m. sharp Entry.... holes from the curtain rods everywhere in the hallway, stains from painting, fire doors that are left open with wooden wedges, no smoking in the rooms, breakfast food is sitting on the counter unrefrigerated at 32 degrees, I can have all the food from Aldi at home , employees who work in flip flops (occupational safety) and not very professional at that

Great...price performance top...Very nice hosts...everything was very relaxed and simple..Large parking lot...battery station for the e-bike...including storage space...Simple clean rooms..Old walls... nice and cool in the room...

Very friendly! Rooms are very good. Only the WiFi is not that good. Now we don't think it's that bad at all! I always struggle to sleep well when I'm away from home, but that wasn't the case here!

Functional room and bathroom, simple breakfast however with very good products, in a very nice village, with a renovated castle nearby, castle chapel now transformed into a church, and, indeed, the inn converted from a castle building to which it refers the name of the inn. Dinner in the adjoining restaurant.

We (m40, w37) stayed there for one night during the autumn holidays with children 3 and 7 and overall were very satisfied - we couldn't understand the negative reviews at all...We had a clean, well-kept, large room with a double bed, a bunk bed for the children and a table with four chairs so that we could play a little before going to bed. The furniture was bright, modern-rustic - very appealing.The friendly and attentive host was available at any time.The dinner (Croatian and traditional German cuisine) was very tasty and good value for money. Even though the restaurant was full, the waiting time was absolutely fine.Breakfast: The selection at the buffet is somewhat limited (of course you can't compare it with a large hotel), but there was more than enough of everything (various cheeses, sausages, ham, jam, honey, hazelnut chocolate cream, yoghurt, fruit, muesli, etc.). . eggs etc.). The breakfast was absolutely fine for us (sorry, I'm Franken... no grumbling is enough Globbt) - we were very satisfied.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Gasthaus zum Schlosswirt with my family and had an overall good experience. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, which is particularly appreciated on a family trip. The food in the in-house restaurant was very good, and the family atmosphere of the inn made the stay even more pleasant. The bathroom was clean and well maintained.As for the location, the inn is in a very quiet area, which is perfect for relaxation. However, there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, so it is more suitable for those seeking peace and quiet and families looking for relaxation.Unfortunately there were some inconveniences. My room was a bit dusty upon arrival, which spoiled the overall impression. Additionally, the baby cot in the room had not been cleaned thoroughly, which was a shame.Nevertheless, the positive aspects outweighed the negative aspects and my family and I had a pleasant stay at the Gasthaus zum Schlosswirt.
