Update June 2024We went here for dinner with a group of 12 people. The service was very slow. However, the staff was very flexible when it came to putting together the food. The food also took a relatively long time. My pizza with extra garlic was good, and everyone else liked the food too. There are several free parking spaces on site. Unfortunately, there is still a discrepancy of 15% - 20% between the prices on the restaurant's homepage online and on site, which is simply not possible.Update November 2023The staff is still nice. The menu is very large with many different dishes and components. My Pizza Diavolo and my wife's beef liver were good. The toilets looked new and were clean. The prices here, like almost everywhere, have increased quite a bit, but according to the menu on the restaurant's homepage they were still quite OK. What is not possible and which is also the reason for only 3 points is the fact that the prices in the restaurant are up to 20% higher than the prices shown on the menu on the restaurant's homepage.Update from July 2019The staff is still nice. I had a lovely time sitting outside here in the summer. The WiFi is free but very weak. Unfortunately there was no reception the entire time. My pizza Diavolo after 10 minutes and surprisingly good considering that it's not Italian here. The menu has a good amount and the prices are cheap. Unfortunately, several dogs were allowed in the restaurant, which is a no-go for me. At the next table, obvious regular customers had been offered a pepper mill, but unfortunately I wasn't. That doesn't actually work either. My empty glass was overlooked when the pizza was delivered and I only got my second drink after speaking to the staff. I had the plate pulled away while I was still chewing and was asked how it tasted. After the meal there was a free Marsala. I was not charged for the extra garlic.Update from September 2018The staff is very nice. Even after ten o'clock we got something to eat with five people. When I sat down at the table, the staff immediately put down fresh tablecloths. The menu has a good scope. Prices are medium to cheap. My Diavolo pizza with extra anchovies and garlic arrived after 15 minutes and was very good, just as I had hoped. The others in our group also all enjoyed their meals. We also received a free, delicious liqueur with the bill.2017 Nice reception. Despite a good visit to the restaurant, the service was quick, friendly, attentive, very nice and also very patient with my wife, who has difficulty making decisions. Nice decoration There was a good selection on the menu. The prices are average to cheap. There are also 4 children's and senior plates on the menu. I ordered a Pizza Diavolo extra spicy with anchovies and garlic and my wife ordered a Pizza Ton with tuna and onions. The pizzas only came in one size. They were there after 10 minutes and very good. Unfortunately, my garlic and the desired spiciness were only slightly pronounced, the anchovies were good. Overall, the topping was OK, the ingredients all tasted fresh. Unfortunately there were no spices or oil on the table for seasoning. The toilets were clean. Other dishes that were carried past us all looked very tasty too. There are enough parking spaces directly at the restaurant.

Unfortunately yesterday, Sunday, the rating was only very mediocre. There was a lot going on, but everything took forever. The salad didn't come at all. The boss had a lot of time to chat with other guests. Ordering and food took a long time. However, the schnitzel was tasty. The waiter also apologized and was friendly. Unfortunately only three stars on this day.

Very good food in a nice atmosphere in the beer garden

After a visit to Braunfels Castle, we were looking for a place to have dinner and came across this restaurant.The food was very good, the prices are reasonable and the portions were completely sufficient to fill you up.Even though the restaurant was very full, we got our food quickly and the service was very nice.

We were at Germania for the first time this week.Unfortunately we were totally disappointed.I don't want to go into much detail about the below-average service.The food was really disappointing. The salad was weak, partly not washed properly and dressed with a sauce that was far too rich.As for the pizza, I highly doubt the dough is homemade. Pizza is more like a cookie and can be bought more or less frozen in the supermarket.Although the pizza was supposed to be topped with mozzarella, among other things, it was definitely not mozzarella.So neither dough nor topping was good.Bottom line, not recommended.I don't think we'll give anyone a second chance either.

The service was very nice, but everything took too long. Food was far too little.

We were there for the first time today.The service was attentive and quick.The pizza and the schnitzel were very tasty, I would love to come back.

The customer service was very kind and I enjoyed my meal slowly. The menu was extensive.

Nice restaurant with good service and an attentive boss. Were invited to an event, the buffet was great, recommended the loin and the fries. We can recommend local.
