Breakfast staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+⭐♥️The Astra Maris Hotel leaves us wondering. Actually everything could be fine if it weren't for a constant heating problem. AND a hotel management that doesn't seem interested in a solution.I'll try to make it short. There were four of us there and we had 2 rooms. A threesome for my wife and our son and a single room for grandma.The heating in both rooms was initially not sensibly adjustable. After a few tries, we somehow managed it in the triple room. This was impossible in our grandma's room. The heating was constantly running at full speed.Try sleeping at well over 20°. This was a catastrophe for my mother (88) and us.The hotel was unable to turn off the heating. A bull's heat!It was only after a massive intervention that they finally responded and offered my mother another room with working heating.This obvious idea did not come up voluntarily. It was probably hoped that the old lady would submit to her fate. Cool!At the table next door we learned at breakfast that the older couple would be leaving early because the heating wasn't working at all and the wife was cold.The heating is described as an intelligent system that is intended to contribute to sustainability. Well, she's definitely bad for the long term and definitely too intelligent for that...Otherwise you have to say that the Astra Maris is very clean. Tip top! We also liked the furnishings. Minor shortcomings such as somewhat small bathrooms and not enough storage space have already been reported.After the heating problem was finally solved, we still really enjoyed the rest of our time. But that was almost exclusively due to the extremely friendly kitchen and breakfast staff. Very empathetic and very, very nice. We would come back just because of them.We strongly recommend a proper wage increase. It is thanks to these people alone that you leave with a good feeling at the end. Thank you very much and best regards!The hotel management can only be described as "very poor".If the recessions are to be believed, the heating problem has been known for a long time and is probably being ignored at the expense of the guests. Pooh!

We were inAugust at the Astra Maris Hotel & Apartment. The location of the apartment is really nice as it is close to the beach. We had breakfast every morning at the hotel, which is just a few minutes' walk from the apartment. The buffet was very rich and we didn't miss anything. The staff was also very courteous and friendly.Now comes the BUT…We booked a premium apartment through Secret Escapes. I have to say I was a little disappointed! The pictures on the homepage are really nice but unfortunately don't correspond to reality...See pictures…Spiders in every corner, dirty walls in the living room, undefined dirty sofa, flaws everywhere, no curtains to darken one bedroom and a mini bathroom in which there is hardly room for two people!It's a shame considering how much the apartment cost...

I was only there one night. The late check-in was a bit bumpy after 10 hours of arrival, I was a bit nervous and it didn't work straight away via the terminal. But there is an emergency number and someone will come and help.The rooms are great. Bright, friendly and everything you need is there. The beds were really a dream, I haven't slept so well in a long time.And the breakfast was great.The hotel is recommended for dog parents

The first impression was: Wow, great hotel! At second glance, disillusionment followed.The rooms are clean, spacious and there is enough space. The bed is also very comfortable. But unfortunately the not so nice points outweigh the negative ones:a) The bathroom is only separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door, so every noise can be clearly heard throughout the room.b) If we book a room with a "balcony", then we also expect a balcony and NOT a terrace where the dog cannot run without security!c) As in every hotel, we always left the room around 11 a.m. However, out of 5 days the room was only cleaned on one day! Of all days, our room door was left open for several hours by the cleaning crew! Thank God nothing was stolen.d) The price of 19 euros per day for a dog is, in our opinion, excessive. We received next to nothing extra for it. A dog bed would have cost another 10 euros extra and we also had to bring our own bowl.Conclusion: Unfortunately, due to the lack of security and the poor price-performance ratio, we can only give this hotel 1 star.

Since we had already driven north from Bavaria during the night, we arrived at our destination very early. Thanks to the courteous service, we were able to make ourselves comfortable in the lobby with a cup of tea or coffee until our small but very tidy room was ready. The rooms are modern, minimalistic (no minibar, kettle, etc.) and very clean. In the lobby there is a refrigerator for personal use as well as a minibar with a coffee counter.
