Parking lot behind the restaurant unsuitable for 14 m buses/too narrow and very dark/boulders in the grass make it difficult to drive out.I was directed to this parking lot by a chef or a waiter

The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is very cozy. The staff is very friendly. However, you should have eaten something beforehand, as the small portions will make you leave the table hungry.

Very lovingly run estate with extremely friendly staff. Food was great too. The rooms are surprisingly modernly furnished, but are quite noisy, which is something you should know if you are a bit more sensitive to noise.

We chose the estate for a week's holiday during the autumn holidays to explore the north of Germany. The contact in advance was extremely friendly with short response times. We booked three rooms directly through the hotel instead of through Booking. The rooms are sufficiently large and modernly furnished. The bathroom looked very new and was spotlessly clean. What we thought was great: that there was a real radiator that reacted immediately when you turned it up, so that we could quickly create a cozy atmosphere when we returned from our day trips. This also applied to the bathroom radiator. The breakfast was good and varied. Of course, after a week you knew the buffet, maybe you could vary it a bit. But you can find something tasty every day.During this holiday week we also had dinner twice in the manor's restaurant and always went to bed happy. Both the beef cheeks with truffle puree, the schnitzel with fries, the duck breast with gnocchi & pointed cabbage and the steak with crispy fried potatoes (just the way you want them) were on point, freshly cooked, excellently seasoned and simply fantastic. The portions are generous, you'll definitely be full..... We couldn't miss the creme brulee and the chocolate cake and we weren't disappointed. A crowning conclusion to a culinary evening! What is particularly noteworthy are the likeable, always friendly service staff who are very attentive and who also take the time to have a quick chat with the guests and do not rush through the rooms with long faces. People seem to still enjoy their work here - really extraordinary!!!Unreservedly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

Always my pleasure. We were there as a family with a dog and hardly anywhere with three children and a dog will you be welcomed as warmly as here. The staff was super friendly and helpful and listened to our every wish. An absolute highlight for us was the dinner in the restaurant, we have already traveled a lot and would never have thought that we would get such a first-class dinner in the Lüneburg Heath, of all places, here you can taste the stars and the years of experience. I can recommend the schnitzel, the cheeks, the steak and everything else on the menu! The kitchen was also very accommodating and friendly when it came to special requests. We'll definitely be back!

Super tasty and special dishes in a very well-kept estate ambience. Also great service and very nice employees. Very dog friendly, we would love to come back. No wonder that the restaurant is almost always fully booked and it's better to make a reservation :-)

We had a family celebration with about 35 people here. The rooms were modernly furnished and the location in the countryside was very nice. The service staff and the boss were very friendly and accommodating. A compromise was found for a room cancellation. We found it annoying to be sent to our rooms by the boss in a somewhat unfriendly manner at 10 p.m. sharp. We would have liked to have been able to sit there longer (if necessary outside) with drinks. Especially because the advertising is about family celebrations, it didn't seem very guest-oriented to us. Unfortunately, there was no refill at the dinner buffet either. In our opinion, that would be appropriate for the price.Apart from these two points, a very nice stay.

The boss here is a catastrophe, we were greeted here rudely, so to speak.Haven't you made a reservation? Then it looks bad, and that's because it's the only restaurant in Oldendorf, so we accepted it that way.Normally I would have left here already. We just wanted something to eat and of course a table. Then we got a table, not outside as requested, but at least.Only the friendly service pulled it out. There was actually a table still free on the terrace. The food was ok, the selection of dishes was just too limited. The chef probably only knows schnitzel and burgers. All in all, as a Heidjer I like to drive 15 km further to avoid the boss of the house, and as already mentioned, the selection of dishes is poor.6 and put.
