In August we stayed in the Hopfennest for 5 nights with our children and grandchildren and rented 2 apartments. The rooms were spacious and had a balcony or terrace with a direct view of the riding arena. The furniture is a bit old and could use a refresh - but everything was there that makes a cozy holiday apartment. We felt very comfortable , whereby Ms. Wenisch's friendly and approachable manner also contributed. The price-performance ratio is also consistent!We can highly recommend the Hopfennest and would be happy to come back...

The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished, I didn't miss anything. Ms. Wenisch was easy to reach and gave you privacy. The location is great for hikes on the white Main or on the Ochsenkopf, both within walking distance.In the morning around 9 a.m. the running ducks came past the terrace, riding lessons or a ride are very cheap. Overall, the vacation was very relaxing and I would love to come back!

Very nice and accommodating hosts. Everything is in perfect condition. 100% family friendly, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen and all in a quiet location. It was a great few days. Thanks for everything, we'll definitely be back.

We spent a weekend here and are very excited about the Hopfennest holiday apartment! The owners are incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating and made us feel very comfortable right from the start! The apartment is very clean and you have everything you need. The idyllic location is also worth mentioning. From the terrace you have a direct view of the riding arena. The “Hopfennest” is highly recommended, especially for families. The children's playground also makes children's hearts beat faster. We will come back with 100% probability! Highly recommended! 👍🌸😊

We were in the Fichtelgebirge as a family over the weekend. We liked it very much. Apartment was spacious and clean. The kids loved the animals and the child-friendly garden (swings, sandpit, slide and not forgetting the many cars). We would go there again.

Hosts are very friendly.Unfortunately, we were first assigned the wrong apartment where we left our luggage and in the meantime another family moved in while we were on the road.We then got apartment number 5 down in the basement.The apartment is very damp, so clothes and towels never really dried and everything was and became a bit damp.Unfortunately, the bed was not recommended for two people, 80 cm and something underneath for the other person to pull out.(It creaks quite a bit)In general it is an idyllic area and a beautiful property with horses, but if we did it again we would no longer book an apartment in the basement.
