Got a room at short notice. Receptionist really nice and accommodating. The room was really nice and we slept really well. I can only recommend it.

The Hotel Motel Blue has a convenient location. You can get anywhere in Berlin using public transport. The subway station is not far away.The rooms are well furnished, but not very large. Everything you need is there, including a fan for warm days as there is no air conditioning. If there is no fan in the room, it may have been stolen. As the friendly man at reception told us, it's a popular takeaway item. The window faced the side street, but it was still very quiet and we were able to sleep well with the window open.Unfortunately the breakfast room is far too small. The offer was also not as shown in photos in previous reviews. There was no jam from jars to take out, no fruit salad, no large selection of sausages. Personally, I was missing hot milk and cocoa, which wasn't available when I asked.

I slept 3 nights at this property and the staff never cleaned. I had to explicitly ask for at least a change of towels and bathroom paper. Very small room for two people, it was clear that it was originally a single room. Shower cabin damaged and I promptly found myself with the bathroom flooded. Hotel Absolutely rejected.

Great location, and great value for money. The room was small but clean and comfy, the person at reception and in the breakfast room very friendly, and the breakfast was actually surprisingly good. There is always tea and coffee with some biscuits on the second floor and a small balcony if you smoke or just want to have coffe outside . Would recommend it for people staying for a couple days in Berlin.

Very clean and well located Motel. Rooms are small but space is very well used so they are comfortable. You get a single bed that is comfortable and a desk where you can work. Bathroom is small but shower is spacious enough. Breakfast was very good and abundant. Location was perfect, nice neighborhood near U-Bahn. I fully recommend

Nice accommodation for uncomplicated people. The room was very small, but quite modern and totally sufficient for two people. Our view was out into the countryside and onto a quiet street. At night we could easily sleep with the window open because it was very hot and there is no air conditioning. Very close to the subway and in a nice neighborhood.

You couldn't make a hotel room any smaller, and you couldn't make it less convenient either: it practically only consisted of a hallway and then the bed. The walls are thin and noisy, the toilet in the bathroom is so awkwardly placed that you can't sit straight on it. We've had much better accommodations for the same price. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was surprisingly extensive.

It was two wonderful days that I was able to spend in this beautiful, special little hotel. From the friendliness and warmth of the owners, to the clean and tastefully furnished rooms and the delicious breakfast buffet, it's great to find this at such a price and in such a location in Berlin. I will book this hotel for all future stays.

Fine for one night. The rooms are tiny, not for fat people! The breakfast room was only for size 34, with 4 couples and a group of 6, two boys from the group had to stand at breakfast and a queue was already forming in front of the room!By the way, the toilet bowl must have been installed by a Lilliputian - 10 cm ground clearance :-o!

Centrally located, but quiet, only parking is a bit expensive if you stand there all day. You need a lot of change. However, Sunday is free of charge. On the whole we were satisfied.

We stayed at the motel for 2 nights. Explore a bit of Berlin. Each single room. And I can only speak for myself here. Everyone has different personal feelings, expectations and so on.An old Berlin residential building was converted into a motel. The room walls were probably drawn in to fit the windows of the formerly large rooms. I had a second window facing the street. I couldn't open one of them because the cabinet locked the knob. The windows are still original. Old double windows (those where flowers used to be placed in the gap) with old handles. But still, I didn't hear any street noise at all at night. We weren't there during the day. The room was very small and narrow but functional and clean. A bed, a closet, a shelf/table, TV and a bathroom. The bathroom wasn't big either. But clean. I would have liked a storage option in the shower area. For shampoo and stuff. But for me the shower cubicle itself was very large (I've known much smaller ones) and so it wasn't a problem to put all the stuff on the ground in the shower.Breakfast is available on the 2nd floor. The room itself is a bit small. If it really happens that all guests want to have breakfast at the same time, it will definitely not be enough. The breakfast was also sufficient. Everything you need for breakfast is there. Cheese, sausage, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sweets, various types of rolls. Coffee, tea, juice, milk, water. A bit of vegetables and fruit. So there was nothing to complain about.The hotel is located on Uhlandstrasse, a few minutes' walk from Hohenzollernplatz subway station. It should be clear to everyone that you can't reach everything straight away from this subway. But the subway and S-Bahn network in Berlin leaves nothing to be desired. You never have to wait long for connections. A few minutes walk in the other direction is the Ku'Damm. There are plenty of places where you can eat well in the immediate vicinity of the motel. Personally, I would say the hotel is more centrally located than you think without it being annoying at night like in the typical tourist hotspots. Because after 11 p.m. the street is really quiet.What else is there... Hmm… the hotel is not barrier-free. There are even a few steps to climb to get to the elevator. WiFi is available.All in all, a good room at a fair price and we will repeat our Berlin exploration next year and also book the Motel Blue again.
