Although the hotel is a bit outdated, it is clean. Beds are very good! Also large garage where you can safely store your bicycles, etc. Breakfast was good. Dinner very good and very affordable, highly recommended! Location, for us, just a bit too far to walk from the center, but with our bikes it was fine (although cycling in Trier is not really well organized...).

Very simple room (64€ but is still 64€) no power strip to charge your cell phone or watch, costs 3€ and would greatly improve the room.Scrambled eggs are not possible in the morning because the cook is not there and the boss is not allowed to do it.Restaurant only open from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Arrival at 8:12 p.m. No more food possible. It was worth an experience.P.S. A 10 minute walk to the pier and the city is very positive.

Just returned home from a few days in Trier. Hotel is recommended if you want to explore Trier. Cross the bridge and you are in the old city in about fifteen minutes. Free parking in front of the door. We arrived a little earlier than check-in time, but were still allowed to go to the room. This way we could go to the city earlier. Friendly hostess. Breakfast had sufficient choice. The menu looked very tasty. But we didn't eat there because we stayed in town late. Rooms very clean and good mattress. Don't hesitate, just do this hotel!!!

What can be said about a budget hotel? We stayed here for a couple of nights when we visited Trier. We were recieved warmly by the staff. The rooms are a bit outdated, but very clean, same for the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure.Overall a good experience for ~€24 pp/pn.

Had food there. Very good cuisine. Large portions and a very good price-performance ratio. Very friendly service. Parking available. However, there is currently a construction site on the doorstep.Atmosphere rustic like in grandpa's time. I really enjoyed it.Happy to eat there again at any time. Highly recommended, even for a family meal.

Very friendly owners and staff. Clean rooms and good service. Breakfast also good. Location good as everything is easily accessible. Parking spaces free of charge. Only the busy road results in one star less. Overall, the hotel is ideal for short trips and city trips.
