A very nice and cozy hotel. The owners Jeroen and Annetta do their very best and are very busy making everyone happy. We stayed there for 4 nights and as they indicate upon arrival, just indicate if you need clean towels and/or other things during your stay and it will be arranged.Jeroen's food is very good and the BBQ was super organized.Environment is great. It was a wonderful and relaxing weekend for us and we will definitely do it again.Thank you Jeroen and Annetta for everything.Greetings Eduard and Rhea

Very friendly, helpful when necessary when it comes to taking a trip or resolving a complaint. Our room looked out over the valley, we enjoyed the view every morning. We recommend eating in the evening. Deliciously made with herbs from our own garden.NB ! GPS directs you to a cycle path up to the hotel. Don't do that, go up via Kordel behind the station. The road is bumpy but upon arrival it was well worth the drive.

Spacious room but not cleaned during your stay. The waste bin is therefore not emptied. Cobwebs in the corners The towels are also not changed unless you specifically ask, which is what we did on the 4th day! …

We booked 4 nights and specifically asked for fresh towels and to empty the trash can on the third night. One side has a view of a van and the other side of grass meters high. We wonder where those very good reviews come from. Owners are friendly. Price certainly not in line with what you get. Sorry.

The property has a beautiful location. You can start hiking straight away from the hotel. The owners are friendly.Rooms are large and clean.Only defects:- Unfortunately the hotel is not barrier-free (we had a stroller with us)- the kettle was already badly calcified- Shower temperature sometimes difficult to adjust or suddenly changes by itself (was not a nice shower experience for my son)Overall we were very satisfied and would come back!

Hotel in an idyllic location, in the middle of the forest and next to the castle. Correct rooms, but kitchen service too simple and expensive for the offer. Correct as a stopover.

Villa Vontenie is a nice and warm small-scale family hotel. The owners - Jeroen and Annetta - care about their customers. We were very warmly welcomed. Jeroen can cook deliciously, ingredients come from his own herb garden. The breakfast is also good. The hotel is located on a mountain with beautiful views. You come here for peace and quiet. There is an old castle next to the hotel, and the Romerpad, a beautiful walking route, also runs here.

Four of us had booked the family room. It was very spacious, quiet and clean. Of course you shouldn't expect luxury for the price.The extremely attentive hosts, who are always available for a nice chat, ensure a personal and almost family atmosphere. This is really special and we really liked it.This is the right place for anyone who loves nature. You can start hiking directly from the hotel or enjoy the beautiful view from the terrace. The loudest sound is the singing of birds. There are also numerous excursion destinations in the area.We found the 4 days to be too short and would like to come back.

Secluded in beautyfull nature with the sweetest host's. The breakfast is great and was enjoyed on the beautyfull terrace. Due to late arrival, we were not able to get a table in the restaurant. Be aware you probably have to book this in the morning same day. Would definitely return

The access took some getting used to, you turn into the road (which is indicated as a dead end) right next to the railway and drive past the station on the narrow and somewhat bumpy road up. The hotel is located at the end of this road just before the ruins of Burg Ramstein. A lovely quiet location with beautiful views!The owners are very service-oriented and friendly, always up for a chat or a tip about the area, and the employees are also friendly. They like to work with natural products and also sell honey from the local beekeeper.We had a room on the second floor of the hotel with a beautiful view of the mountains at the rear and a beautiful view of the ruins of Burg Ramstein on the side. A pleasant room with good beds and neatly clean. The bed does have an end partition, but with my height of 1.92 m I could lie comfortably. It is an older house, so the flushing of the toilet in the other room was quite audible, but otherwise it was fine and quiet.We like to have a dark bedroom, so we think a tip would be to make the curtains more blackout, as it was already quite light in the room early in the morning.The breakfast was excellent and the optional dinner in the evening was also tasty and well presented with main course and dessert.There is good walking in the immediate area, we walked from the hotel for 1 day and the next day we went to the Müllertal in Luxembourg. The larger city of Trier is very easily accessible, for groceries there is a small supermarket at the bottom of the road.In short, highly recommended!

Wonderfully quiet hotel next to woods and the ruins of Ramstein. The owners are super friendly people from the Netherlands. A nice chat every day at breakfast!There is also the option to have a nice meal in the evening.The room we had was very spacious, with a balcony and a beautiful view of the surroundings and the herb garden.Enjoy greenery, peace and quiet!

Beautiful, quietly located hotel, you can walk straight into the forest. The owners are Jeroen and Anette.Nice rooms, all the trimmings. Slept 1 night with motorbike. In the evening we had dinner with what Jeroen made that day, delicious and with a dessert for a reasonable price.In the morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet.Recommended!

Beautiful room with a beautiful view, Dutch hostess and husband who are incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. But unfortunately the surroundings and the peace and quiet cannot be described, you have to experience them yourself. Recommended!!!!

Arrival was Saturday, departure was Wednesday. We felt very comfortable, we were looked after like a family, the dinner was excellent, the breakfast was great. We were not able to drive far from the hotel to Trier, Luxembourg and the Moselle to Bernkastel-Kues. We also got great tips for these excursions at the hotel.Thursday was a rest day, so we had dinner further up in the other hotel/restaurant, which was ok.Our room was "small" but clean and with a balcony.Now that we've gotten to know the area and, according to the owner, there's a lot more to see, we rely on his tips and will definitely come back, we're looking forward to it!
