We didn't see the reviews here until after we booked.We were stressed the whole time on site so that nothing would break and the deposit would be retained. By the way, the first picture on Maps is not the hotel. The hotel is one street away and only consists of one floor in a building. Just book somewhere else and you won't have any stress.

Boutique hotel with washbasin and shower in the room, at least the toilet was separated (room 21). However, it is impossible that a deposit of €500 was charged to the credit card before moving in

Never again MEA!! Our room was complete rubbish. Soap dispenser fell off the wall, paper roll holder also fell off the wall and the TV didn't work. Anything can happen... But when you are told that we will finish it tomorrow and that you have 24 hours to do it, I wonder where the service is!? The employee on the phone got really cheeky. Where would I come from? He just laughed at a proposed price reduction. No other room was offered. Or e.g. B. a discount for the next booking. Nothing at all! Therefore: never again MEA!!Regarding the location you have to say: yes, it is central and therefore some sights can be reached on foot. But you just have to like the noise and the fact that you can't drive to the hotel because it's a pedestrian zone.

Very nice rooms, in the middle of Trier, in the city center. It is possible to park bicycles in the house.Key handover via key box using code.No breakfast

The hotel was clean, unfortunately I didn't like the shower because of the lack of water pressure. Single room was ok and double room was good. The bumps are too loud when you shower or wash your hands.

I can confirm the fraud of my predecessors. I was also charged €500 for damage that of course I did not cause. Criminal charges for fraud are pending. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ACCOMMODATION.

Modern hotel. Very large room. Great location, right between the basilica and the pedestrian zone. Parking garage less than 5 minutes away.

Amazing location in the sentre of Trier, no noise, comfortable bed , fast contactless check-in and check-out, very clean and new!!! I would really like a small refrigerator, but nevertheless I sincerely recommend it for a short stay👌👌👌😎😎😎

😊Clean rooms, perfect city center location.🙁Our room was quite noisy until late at night because it was opposite a arcade and a bar where smokers were constantly standing in groups in front of the door and talking loudly.🥴No staff on site, self-service, from check-in to check-out.

Overall average good BUT BEWARE RIP-OFF!I was accused of damaging the plumbing system and my credit card was charged €500, when I googled it later it became clear that this was a hotel scam! So stay away!!!

An absolute disgrace!!!! Beware of rip-offs.We were accused of throwing something into the toilet facility. Total nonsense.The hotel then wants to charge €500 to our credit card.During the phone call with a young man who pretended to be the owner, we were told a fairy tale in a completely arrogant manner.Better book another hotel as this rip-off has happened several times now.

The rooms are very nice and the location is nice and central.The whole self check-in/out process takes some getting used to. Everything that requires a deposit (€500 per room!) is very dubious. Luckily there were no problems during our stay. In addition, you don't get an answer to any queries.

Nice room in itself with a great location.However, it can happen that you are allowed to pay 500 euros for a defective wastewater lifting system even though you did not cause it.It's best to record everything that happens in the room with a camera so that you can prove that it's not your fault if the drain gets clogged.

Watch out! Everything seems fine until something is wrong and then suddenly they are scammers. It is an unstaffed hotel and the rooms seem very nice at first. Until you take a shower and your room is flooded. If you call the service number, they will know within 2 seconds what the problem is and tell you that it is your fault anyway, then threaten you with a hefty fine and call the police. Fortunately, we quickly did the latter ourselves and they were able to tell us that this was clearly not our fault and that this party cannot simply recover an amount of 500 euros, which they are threatening to do. Soooo, I would choose another hotel if you are looking for a carefree night's sleep.
