Outstanding service and culinary delights - with compromises in the room location for dog ownersLast Friday we spontaneously decided to stop at the Öschberghof on our return journey from Spain to Berlin. The booking went smoothly and the reception was characterized by a hospitality that is rarely found today.Unfortunately, we noticed that guests with dogs were accommodated in the so-called annex and not in the main building. The rooms are close to the central car park and have less attractive views and surroundings compared to the main house rooms. We would have liked dog owners to also be able to enjoy the full comfort of the main facility.Nevertheless, the Öschberghof scores with excellent service, attentive friendliness and culinary quality that is second to none. From breakfast and room service to dinner in the Italian restaurant – the food was consistently excellent.The only suggestion for improvement: Telephone accessibility could be made more efficient, as there are sometimes longer waiting times for queries. Overall, the Öschberghof remains an excellent choice for relaxing days - hospitality is really important here!

5 stars are not enough!The entire hotel invites you to feel good at the highest level. From reception to check-out, everything is incredibly beautiful, warm and just great.The service is incredibly friendly, committed and professional, whether in the restaurants, room service or in the wellness area. The service employee who served us in the morning for several days even memorized our morning drink order and put it right there! The staff is trained and all employees were unsurpassedly friendly and attentive.Everything is very clean! The rooms and the entire hotel down to the smallest corner are very stylish, modern and comfortably furnished. This is the second time we've been there and we've never seen such a stylish and perfect hotel (despite both frequent wellness vacations).The beautifully furnished rooms are always lovingly and cleanly decorated and I even received a beautiful bouquet of flowers and beauty products as a surprise for my birthday. The rooms generally invite you to feel good; you feel at home in the comfortable box spring beds.The food is world class, really amazing. There are several restaurants, including a 2-star restaurant (!), which we can definitely recommend. The visit was one of our personal highlights. The quality of the food is incredible, even for people who often eat upscale or star-rated cuisine.The spa area is large and there is a good selection of saunas and treatments. There were also good infusions from the sauna master. The cryo cold chamber is also recommended!The yoga class with Farah was also just great, regardless of whether you are a beginner or an advanced student! :-)Only points of criticism:Around 8:00 a.m. we heard the cleaning carts rolling in the hallway, but that passed quickly and perhaps there's no other way to solve it.Unfortunately, a booked massage for the last evening, which was supposed to be my birthday present, was canceled at short notice due to an emergency. It's a shame, but of course it can always happen with jobs involving people and you can't really blame the hotel for it.It is an all-round great hotel, managed with attention to detail, with committed and professional staff, to a very high standard. For us the best wellness hotel, not just in Germany.

Pure luxury – a perfect stay!Our stay at the Öschberghof was simply fantastic! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and with an extremely comfortable bed. The staff was consistently attentive, very friendly and warm. Particularly noteworthy are the excellent breakfast buffet and the outstanding cuisine of the hotel restaurants.The spa area was a place of complete relaxation, ideal for switching off.Overall, an unforgettable experience – we will definitely be back!

Remotely located resort with an interesting history right on the golf course with a great spa area and good gastronomy including a star restaurant.When fully booked, the service often reaches its limits, but what really needs to be criticized is the opening for day guests, which definitely exceeds capacity.If you're looking for peace and quiet, you should only come here during off-peak times and the room rating here only applies to the new building in the main building - the rest is more like 4 stars. . .

Visit 2024Our active holiday between the Black Forest, Switzerland and Lake Constance. The gentle hilly landscape of the Baar invites you to take part in numerous activities. In 127 stylish rooms & suites you will find the perfect relaxation after an eventful day. A spacious SPA on 5,000 square meters and a GYM round off the feel-good experience.Fantastic smokers lounge and wine cellar with over 1000 provenances.1.15 hours from Zurich. A successful golf course with 2 courses, the Old Course and the East Course, whereby the East Course is reminiscent of a Scottish links course, not easy to play as the rough usually means a lost ball. Golf balls on the range are free.

I have been to this wonderful luxury hotel 4 times this year alone. It is an absolute must for golfers, gourmets and wellness fans. The spa is lovely and the choice of treatments is huge. The restaurants pamper every palate and taste. And the golf courses are beautiful and well maintained. Everything has been thought of in the cozy and beautiful rooms. The fitness studio is perfectly equipped.But the best thing is the people, great service and the special friendliness of the employees. A wonderful place and I'll be back!

Simply a dream.Beautiful, modern spa area, not overcrowded, very pleasant.Breakfast was of a very high standard and with the Öschberghof benefits (half board) we also enjoyed excellent gastronomy in the evening. Something for everyone.The best gym I've ever had the chance to use in a hotel including healthy snacks at the Vital Bar.Parking for the duration of your stay is also included!For golfers: Range balls are given out free of charge, the golf course is in excellent condition - the Old Course is much more idyllic than the East Course.In summary: Despite the high price, an exceptionally good price-performance ratio thanks to included services with great offers for all age groups.

The Oeschberghof in Donaueschingen – my absolute favorite hotel and a place where luxury is redefined! Here you will be so pampered that even your slippers would be jealous. The rooms? So comfortable you'll wonder if you'll ever want to go home again. The wellness area is paradise on earth - I felt like a freshly ironed shirt after the massage. The food? A culinary flight of fancy that makes you wonder with every bite whether it's legal to eat so well. And the golf course? So perfectly maintained that even Tiger Woods would applaud for a round. Conclusion: A stay at the Oeschberghof is like a little vacation from everyday life - and I always like to come back!

We have been regularly enjoying shorter golf and SPA holidays at the Öschberghof for many years and always appreciate the amenities and the beautiful rooms. However, this year we decided to extend our stay and stayed from August 25th. For the first time, a full week in the hotel until August 31, 2024. For this occasion we booked a premium room without knowing that there is a significant difference between the west and east sides.To our regret, we were assigned a premium room (214) on the ground floor on the east side - with a "fantastic" view directly of the garage entrance and exit (see photo). Immediately after checking in, we asked the front desk to swap rooms, either in the same category on the west side or in a higher category on the south side. We were willing to pay a possible additional charge, but unfortunately we were told that all the categories we wanted were fully booked during our stay and therefore a change was not possible.Unfortunately, this rigid and inflexible behavior significantly spoiled our stay at the hotel. The always attentive and friendly staff in the dining room and in the Öventhütte, the excellent half-board meals, the birthday attention and the excellent and well-maintained condition of the golf courses could only partially compensate for this negative impression.We strongly recommend that guests of the Öschberghof do their research in advance and make sure that they do not get a room on the east side - unless they actually prefer the view of the garage entrance and exit.

Our stay at the Hotel Öschbergerhof was overall pleasant, albeit with a few weaknesses.The service was always friendly and unobtrusive, which was very positive for us. What is particularly worth mentioning is the young, committed staff and the many trainees. However, one sometimes had the impression that there was a lack of leadership from experienced specialist staff.The food was consistently very good and met our expectations. If we didn't like something, it was more due to personal preference than the quality of the food. The cleanliness and interior of the hotel were absolutely up to the standard of a 5-star hotel.A big drawback, however, was the technology in the hotel. Broken lamps, showers, telephone systems or the whirlpool spoiled the overall impression. What was particularly negative was the heating in our room, which started loudly in the middle of the night in summer temperatures and robbed us of sleep. Although the problem was solved by a technician, our night's sleep was unfortunately permanently disturbed. It's a shame because we wanted to actively relax on vacation and ended up having to return home exhausted.It was also disappointing that we did not receive an appropriate apology for this inconvenience when checking out. We are used to something different from other houses in this class.Overall it was a nice stay, but there is definitely room for improvement.
