The rooms (at least the suites) are big and have all necessary amenities like a kettle, fridge, tresor, tv and balcony. The location is ideal if you are traveling by public transportation and have business on the Gruga Location/ Messe Essen. The only negative is, that there are some but not a lot of parking spaces that belong to the hotel.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds. A very friendly lady welcomed us.The employee the next morning was a little less motivated and wasn't willing to cancel breakfast.The breakfast selection without scrambled eggs but with cold boiled eggs, no filter coffee, no croissants or pastries for €14 is not proportionate.

Very good solution for dividing the room. Unfortunately, it was a bit difficult to only ventilate through the balcony door when it was very hot. Location is not entirely quiet, which is due to the proximity to the city, but still ok. Walls could use a coat of paint again. Great idea with the small coffee bags and the French press if you don't want to have breakfast in the hotel. Helpful and always approachable employees at the reception. Great solution with the locked bicycle box.

All in all it was a decent stay. The room was neat and clean.Unfortunately the balcony was not nice and very small. Despite the nice weather, you couldn't really use it. The picture and reality don't match.The price for breakfast is also way too high. Very manageable, no regular sugar. Personally, I would go to the bakery for breakfast next time.But all in all it was a pleasant stay.

Love the location and the people at the front desk. The rooms are really well laid out and spacious.The probelm we faced was that it was way too hot. The bedding was not breathable. The windows opened for nice breeze but because it was by the road and also this carnival, it was too noisy to sleep. So we were extremely unrested during out stay.

They deserve all the ✋ stars for the way they do business!The room was very clean, spacious and expressing lots of comfort.Location and access were great.Went there for the Euro 2024 and the hotel was a great oasis of relax for the magnificient days in Germany !

We would be happy to book this hotel again at any time. We felt very comfortable.The staff is super nice. Everything is very uncomplicated.Our L apartment was very clean and everything was there.Finally a shower that doesn't flood half the bathroom.Of course, we didn't miss the fact that there was no air conditioning in December. The heating worked well.And I can't understand some of the bad reviews about breakfast. Sure, the selection isn't huge, but it has everything I personally need for breakfast: 3 different types of rolls, bread, 2 different types of cheese, selection of sausages, spreads, honey, boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, tea. And everything is very high quality. Personally, I prefer that to a huge breakfast buffet with inferior products.Directly opposite the trade fair.It was perfect for us and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Quite the opposite.
