Normally I would have to give zero stars. I booked through booking.com and asked by phone 3 days before arrival to rebook to a single room. The booked single room was also visible on booking.com until the day of arrival. I was informed on site that this single room was no longer available. In the end, I was actually charged more money than I should have paid for the single room, even though I was also personally assured of the cancellation because the single room was not available. Even after several telephone conversations, there was no response.

The four of us wanted to book a double room and were informed after booking and paying that it was not legally permissible for 2 adults and 2 small children to stay in a normal double room. On the phone we said that we had to pay €50 more and get a bigger room.We had to go to a holiday apartment that we didn't want and in the end we even had to pay an additional €100.A hairdryer was available upon request, but there was still no place to sleep for our boys unless we pulled out the existing couch ourselves and prepared it for sleeping.First and last visit to this hotel!It's a shame that families are so excluded.

We slept here one night. The rooms are individually and well furnished according to the architectural conditions and are very clean. You can park opposite the old town. For breakfast: well, if you like having breakfast in the Bautzen dollhouse... I didn't really feel comfortable among all the trinkets and tarnished silver cutlery. The breakfast itself was okay.

Super nice, central “hotel”. Rooms clean, very stylish and furnished with attention to detail.Due to the structural conditions, there is no seating in our rooms. Unfortunately there is no other opportunity to sit together in the “hotel”. That's a real shame, especially since there are possibilities to create small seating areas.I put "hotel" in quotation marks because there is really no service at all. No room cleaning etcThere are small coffee corners in the rooms, but no one comes to refill or exchange anything. Of course I can wash my glass and cup myself, but drying them with a bathroom towel is not that hygienic. The lack of service and seating options are particularly unfortunate because the hotel and the rooms themselves are really nice.The small fitness room is sufficient. Very good devices.

We are simply overwhelmed by this hotel and by Bautzen! If you are looking for a romantic hotel, this is the right place for you! The breakfast in the Gersdorffsches Palais is impressive, you eat like "God in France". Everything prepared with great attention to detail! The decoration, the French music, the selection, everything is harmonious from start to finish. You feel like you are in another world. The apartment is very stylish and furnished with a lot of charm. Nothing was missing, everything was there: hairdryer, umbrellas, iron, mini fridge and tea or coffee facilities with a kettle plus free water, beer and of course free mustard. Everything clean and tidy. There is also a shop in the hotel where you can buy beautiful accessories for your home. There is also a nice fitness room. The staff and boss on site are very courteous and friendly. (Thanks for the CD tip)So if you're looking for something special, you've come to the right place! Thanks to you, we were able to experience an incredibly beautiful, romantic, unique weekend. Thank you very much! We will be back!

Very nice hotel in the middle of the city. Great charm. Friendly staff.For breakfast you had to walk 2 minutes to the neighboring house, which didn't bother us. Breakfast very lovingly prepared and plenty of choice.Would love to come back.

First things first: We were very happy with our room, with slight drawbacks.In general, the hotel impresses with its coordinated colors, materials and attention to detail when it comes to furnishings. The sports corner is also very high quality.Room: We had a room on the 1st floor, which has a historical character. We really liked that. What we didn't like was that the suspension of the ceiling lamp was obviously in need of repair. A caretaker should have done this in 30 minutes. We also didn't understand the idea of the mosquito net, but maybe it's because of the season?! - Nevertheless, we felt comfortable and the room was much quieter than the location would have suggested.Location: the location is central in the old town and therefore all destinations in the city center are within walking distance.Parking: there are paid parking spaces nearby, but also free parking spaces. The largest is in the parking lot of the multi-purpose hall. Attention: suitcases and anyone who is not good on foot should stay in the hotel, as the climb/descent is intense.

An all-round perfect place to switch off. Fits very well with this beautiful city. Everything was very lovingly and harmoniously furnished. The staff friendly and accommodating. You have to leave the house for breakfast, but the short walk through the cozy alley is worth it. Likewise the impressively prepared breakfast buffet in the Gersdorff Palace. There really is everything your heart desires for breakfast.

Very nice, lovingly furnished hotel, with very nice staff and in a very good central location. The rooms were very clean upon arrival, but were not cleaned once while we were there (Monday to Friday), even though I put out the card. I never saw anyone cleaning the floors either.You could save the tip for the maid as there was none.The breakfast was okay, but if you value delicious rolls, toast or even good bread, you're out of luck. There were only the cheapest, poorly baked rolls.

Very nice boutique hotel in the truest sense of the word! There are nooks and crannies everywhere where there is something to discover. When you come in the evening, the room key is in the locker at the entrance.Breakfast in the Gersdorfschen Palais is very nice and varied! Only the far away parking facility requires good walking ability, but that applies to the entire old town.

I spent 3 nights at ApartOne in Bautzen. The staff is friendly, flexible and on the ball. My apartment (for one person) is clean, cozy and practical. Details have been thought of: shower with glass doors, toilet with “whisper lid”, hairdryer is available, fully equipped kitchenette, comfortable mattress, TV, WiFi…There is even a washing machine and ironing board, which I didn't use, but I assume that both work.The parking situation is a bit annoying, but the provider can't do anything about it! You can drive directly up to the car to load and unload your luggage: that's good!I can fully recommend the ApartOne apartment, especially since Bautzen is also a pretty little town.Thanks for the stay.
