I traveled alone by train.The accommodation was easily accessible on foot from the train station.The property also offers a central location near Garmisch city center.All other sights can also be reached on foot or using public transport.The breakfast was very good, there was a selection of different rolls, as well as various cold cuts and spreads.The hostess was also very friendly and accommodating.I had a single room which was very small, but included everything. The bed was really very comfortable and the room was also very clean. I felt very comfortable for my 4 night stay.The rooms are covered with carpets, which I consider to be rather unhygienic, but I still had the impression that they were well-kept and clean.The price-performance ratio is right for me. I would come back again.

The family-run guesthouse impresses with charmingly furnished, country-style rooms, complete with traditional furniture and carpeted floors. The hostess is extremely friendly and helpful, which makes the stay even more pleasant. A cozy and warm atmosphere, perfect for relaxing holidays.

Excellent stay in a perfect location, delicious breakfast and a very friendly woman, she stole my heart 🥹 Too bad the room didn't have a small fridge, otherwise very nice and charming, powerful shower and nice deep bath. The room was cleaned very well every day (vacuuming on her knees under the bed). For the price, this stay is a gem, we will definitely come back!!!

We stayed at Haus Höllental for 6 nights and were actually very happy with the price-performance ratio. The accommodation is simple, but has everything you need and is clean.Unfortunately, the rooms are quite noisy. If you like to sleep dark and quietly, you should pack an oropax and a sleeping mask. However, a good night's sleep doesn't fail because of the comfort, because the mattresses were super comfortable.In our room, the bathroom would have needed to be renovated again: the door only closed with great effort, the sink was cracked and there were mold stains on the wallpaper above the tile backsplash in the shower tray. Carpeting in hotel rooms is always difficult for hygiene reasons, but in this case it may still dampen one or two noises.A small balcony with seating completes the room.For breakfast, the landlady takes care of your physical well-being with a daily changing selection of cheese/sausages, various rolls and croissants, as well as coffee, tea, orange juice, eggs, fruit, yoghurt and muesli.The parking situation at the house itself is sometimes a bit chaotic because there is not a parking space for every room. If you don't want to run the risk of being parked, it's best to find a spot on the street. The latter wasn't a problem.Otherwise, the accommodation is centrally located to the must-sees of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Eibsee, Zugspitzbahn, Partnachklamm, Olympic Stadium, etc. can be reached in a few minutes by car.Places for dinner can be found in the town center.All in all, it was a successful short vacation for us. If you don't value design and don't place too high demands on accommodation, this is a cheap way to explore Garmisch.

Even though the house is getting old, we felt comfortable. We had a slightly larger room with a bathtub, which is very useful if you are staying for 10 days. The housekeeper is more than nice and sometimes prepares little things for dinner in the evenings, which were very tasty. She always had an open ear for us and went out of her way to make our stay more pleasant. We were more than satisfied with the room cleaning. The breakfast was sufficient and good for us. Many thanks to the lady of the house, you made our stay very pleasant.

Cute little bed and breakfast. The staff was a bit rigid but helpful. They are strict about the # of guests. Our room was small, well decorated, comfortable and kept clean by housekeeping. We were only a short walk from the buses around town and a 20 min from the bus out of town.
