When we arrived we were warmly welcomed. After a friendly conversation we were shown our room (Hirschzimmer). The room was decorated very nicely and you can recognize the name of the room everywhere.Even special wishes don't go unheard here! If we are at the Zugspitze again we will happily stay here again.

View of the mountains from the balcony. Hiking destinations from the house are very good. The accommodation is very good and there was a very nice and warm welcome. The hosts are always ready to help. A beautiful place in the valley surrounded by mountains.

The stay was great. There was good contact with Ms. Märkl before we arrived and we were given a great welcome with tips for excursions and current events.Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and nicely decorated.The small shop in the house also offers many local foods.Overall, we were thrilled by the family circumstances and were offered everything we imagined.The price was definitely fair and we would come again.

Just great!!!The Märkl family are all very nice and warm. We had a very nice reception, where all the hygiene rules and breakfast were discussed. And we were always given good tips for excursions and restaurants. The accommodation and rooms are typically Bavarian and very beautiful. The breakfast was always very tasty. The guest house has a small shop where you can buy small things for your day trip. All restaurants and hiking trails are within walking distance. There is a bus stop right around the corner, from where you can quickly reach Grainau and the Eibsee. Since we received a guest card as guests in Grainau, we were able to use the bus free of charge. We are very satisfied and will book this accommodation again. The nature in the area is amazing and varied, suitable for leisurely walkers as well as advanced hikers.

We were here for 10 days. The guest house is very conveniently located in Obergrainau, about 300 meters from the train station. We had a double room facing the street with a view of the mountains. The room on the 1st floor is beautifully furnished, the bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating, as well as a shower and toilet. There is a nice flat screen on the wall with lots of programs. There is a separate kitchen for guests with a refrigerator and cooking facilities. Next to the kitchen is the breakfast room. The breakfast is good. A jug of very healthy water is placed in your room free of charge every day.The landlords are very nice and have a small self-service grocery store on site. The service and selection are very good here. Here you can get the best supplies for your evening snack or for your hiking tour. All in all, the price/performance ratio is very good. We will come here again.
