Wonderful historical charm to live in a weaver's cottage. The location is central in Babelsberg and yet quiet. Facilities excellent. Reception friendly and helpful. Very good connections to the sights of Berlin, Potsdam and Babelsberg. Several bakers, shops and restaurants can be reached in a few minutes on foot. There are sufficient public parking spaces available. The Weberplatz with a playground in the immediate vicinity is excellent for children

It is a lovely complex of apartments in authentic low rise houses in the heart of Babelsberg. The garden in the back invites to have a break in a green and calm environment as if it was in the countryside. 🌻🐝 our room was super spacious, the staff always smiling and forthcoming. To crown the whole experience, Aparthotel Fritz is located in a calm and very green area of the city in proximity of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, parks, public transport… I mean, YES we had a lovely time there! 👏👏👏👍👍👍🙋♂️

We had a great stay at the Fritz Aparthotel. The apartment was modern and clean. (Only one or two things in the bathroom could be renewed). The owners and all other employees are super nice and accommodating. The location right on Weberplatz is simply wonderful! Very quiet and great for children thanks to the playground. There are cafes, restaurants and nice shops around the corner. Thanks for the great time and we'll definitely be back!

A super nice hotel for a short vacation in Potsdam.We chose the hotel because we wanted to attend a concert in Berlin but wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. It's a short walk from the hotel to the S-Bahn, which was a great way to get to Berlin. The tickets for this were included in the room price.The room was clean and tidy and big enough for us (three adults and two children). If we are in Potsdam or Berlin again, we would like to go here again.

Conclusion: Okay but not recommended.Rooms/Furniture:We had a premium double room with a double bed and sofa bed on the upper floor with a roof terrace.Positive:The room is a good size so you don't step on each other's toes.Lots of windows make it nice and bright.Negative:The bathroom and room as well as the furnishings make a very old impression.The carpet has various large stains. The double bed creaks, creaks and squeaks with every little movement. The mattress is actually through (see picture), so you can feel every transverse spring.When you get out of bed, the floor creaks so loudly that you worry about the sleep of the tenants below.The rooms and front doors hang in the frames at such an angle that they sometimes drag heavily on the floor or are simply difficult to walk. Opening the room windows is sometimes hindered by curtain rods that hang too low and have to be pushed up in order to open the window.In the bathroom there are (see pictures) various broken tiles and heavily used doors.The advertised roof terrace is in a poor condition (see pictures).Hygiene/cleanliness:If you look at the roof terrace, everything in the room is very clean. Top.Service:The breakfast often mentioned in the reviews is not available. However, reference is made to a cooperation with a local restaurant. Here you get a 10% discount on breakfast if you are a guest at the hotel.While the telephone order was very nice, the room delivery is not very edifying. No questions about “how was your stay?” or “Was everything okay?” Just hand in the keys and have a good tripToo bad.Location/Parking:Positive:The location is good and with the “Touriticket” you can reach everything quickly by public transport.Negative:Park. Oh my God. Contrary to any description, parking here is a matter of luck. Everything is parked during the day. Alternating between "workers go home" and "residents come back" you have a time window in which you can get a parking space. Otherwise, it's a combination of paid parking and luck. Anyone who has a parking space should keep it.In conclusion, we can say that we had better accommodations for the budget we asked for. Basically the stay was okay, but we wouldn't recommend the hotel.

The small hotel is located on Weberplatz. It is a quiet area of Potsdam. There are plenty of free parking spaces for cars at Weberplatz. There is a very nice weekly market on Saturdays. The hotel itself is small. The rooms are correct. The breakfast was ok. The staff was very friendly and service-oriented. What was practical was a ticket for each guest for public transport for Potsdam and Berlin for the entire period of the hotel booking. This meant we were able to explore Potsdam sans souci.

Experience PotsdamThat was our goal.A week in Potsdam, culture, vacation and leisure timeAnd with the Aparthotel Fritz we have found the most ideal starting point.A beautiful complex in the middle of Potsdam on Weberplatz, quiet, wonderful gardens with lots of greenery and walnut trees, 3 minutes walk from the S-Bahn and tram, great restaurants nearby.Parked the car in front of the hotel for a week without any stress or expense.The rooms are very spacious, bright and friendly, the beds are excellent, and first of all the staff:super friendly, fulfill your wishes before you ask them,A special thank you to Ilka, Mia and Mary and of course to all the other hard-working helpers.In short, we were more than satisfied and will come back.Especially since the journey to Berlin by public transport (included in the room price / free travel in Berlin/Potsdam) is so short, half an hour to Berlin Mitte, and then diving back into the silence of the hotel.Price/performance very good for the metropolis of Potsdam/Berlin.Gabi and Eberhard Bohn

Reservation without any problems and very friendly staff. The room in a former weaver's house was extremely spacious and well equipped. The hotel is located in a historic part of Babelsberg with good access to all the sights and is highly recommended!
