Simple small campsite, without entertainment and swimming pool, suitable for walkers, cyclists and those seeking peace and quiet.Neatly maintained grounds, very clean sanitary facilities and very friendly (Dutch) owners who ensure a relaxed atmosphere at the campsite and in the small restaurant.The campsite is located in a rural, hilly area between vineyards on the Nahe-Radweg. Towns and shops a few km away.

If there were 6 stars to give I would do that.Super nice operators, clean medical building, showers included.We were allowed to stand with our roof tent on the tent meadow with a campfire area and had it all to ourselves. So it couldn't be better. At night you can only hear the chirping of the nightingale, the occasional train, which is normal in a river valley, but otherwise complete silence.

Top campsite with a friendly atmosphere. You can enjoy cycling and walking in the area, followed by a delicious local wine or a nice beer on the terrace. Bistro is limited but more than enough for this campsite, owners are very friendly and helpful, I am not used to anything else from Frisians. Sites are large, but the further back you are, the further away from the sanitary building, which is cleaned very well.

There are also numerous walking and cycling routes in the area, ideal for active holidaymakers. The facilities at the campsite are excellent. The pitches are spacious and well maintained. The sanitary facilities are clean and modern and there is a small shop on site where you can buy basic necessities. What makes Camping Nahetal really special is the friendly and helpful service. The staff does everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible, with tips about the area, assistance with trips, and a smile with every greeting. Camping Nahetal is a great campsite to stay at. Good and clean sanitary facilities (no coin-operated shower so that is always a plus), friendly (Dutch) owners/staff and a beautiful area for cycling and walking. However, there are a few things that also need to be mentioned. I personally don't find the "fine" that you pay extra if you only stay 1 or 2 nights very inviting/sympathetic (€5 extra for 1 night, €2.50 extra for 2 nights), it is nice that the campsite is almost at the Nahe river is located, but you cannot swim in it, so do your shopping in advance because the nearest supermarket is 10 km away. The WiFi is also only available at the bistro and reception, at the rest of the campsite you have to rely on your own bundle (probably not a problem for most people, but it may be mentioned). 2 nights with a small camper (2 people) at the campsite with 1 dog incl. electricity costs €78.10 and I think that is a reasonable price for what Nahetal campsite offers. But hey, as mentioned before, it's not a punishment to be there 😉

A nice campsite in itself. Friendly people.Only.... 1 sanitary building for such a large campsite?! Having to walk 250 meters with your heavy cassette was no fun. And we weren't even at the back yet... you can imagine.

We stayed 6 nights with a tent at this campsite in August 2024. It is a very quiet place with super friendly owners. The sanitary facilities are neat and there is sufficient capacity, even when the campsite is full.The pitches are relatively large. There is plenty of shade on the tent meadow. It is best to take a long power cable with you when you are on the tent field (50 m).Even in the furthest corner of the tent area at the back of the campsite there is very good 4G reception.You have to drive a bit to find a supermarket (about 10 km), but at the campsite you can order (tasty!) sandwiches and there is a shop that is open every day and where you can buy basic products at normal prices. There are also chilled drinks.There is a bistro that is only open on weekends, but on the other days you can pick up (super tasty!) flammkuchen.When we were there, most of the guests at the campsite were Dutch, the rest mainly Germans and some Belgians (including us!).You can take beautiful walks from the campsite, especially the vital tour around the Lemberg is recommended (what a view!).

Stayed here for a week at the beginning of August. What a super beautiful place. Wonderfully quiet! The passing train passes too quickly to irritate you, so it's not really worth mentioning. The area is super beautiful!! Delicious wines. What we thought was a shame was the service regarding a drink or a bite to eat at the campsite. That is really minimal and a shame for such a beautiful place! And we found it a bit strange that the reception is closed during the day and there is no one present at the campsite. But as mentioned before, highly recommended! We will definitely come back again!

I can't really say that it is a beautiful or quiet campsite, but it is well located, for walks or bike rides you can start your route straight from the campsite. It is high season, so it is logical that it is not quiet, but a train also thunders past quite often, from about 300 meters away.The people are friendly and helpful. There is a wine tasting in the village every Thursday, which is highly recommended, good explanation, beautiful and good wines tasted.
