A little holiday paradise in Schindelberg :-)The warm welcome from Sonja was topped when we entered the “Vogelhäusle”. Extremely cozy, lovingly and high-quality furnishings, a spacious terrace and this heavenly peace... An absolute place to feel good!We felt very, very comfortable at the Stöhr.hof and were certainly not here for the last time :-)

A wonderful, relaxing holiday in a lovely holiday apartment that is really TOP equipped. You immediately feel at home here. We were warmly welcomed by Sonja and she showed and explained everything to us in detail. The bread roll service is great and their jam and Bruno's honey are also a delight. You could also buy drinks on site. In the holiday apartment there was lovingly designed information material for long hikes in the surrounding area. There is a fleet of vehicles for children on the farm, which my boys were enthusiastic about. Since we are late risers 😇 the boys only helped out in the stable in the evenings and luckily Sonja didn't wake us up in the morning. If you like, you're there, if you don't come, you're not there either. As described in the information book, the play barn only opens on rainy days and only upon request. Which is more than enough given the wonderful location and the outdoor activities on offer. It was also nice to sit together with the other guests in the evening and Sonja and Bruno were also there. On the last evening there was a campfire and Sonja's cheese spaetzle, which were so incredibly delicious. All in all it was a TOP holiday and we have booked straight away for next year.

We spent a week at the Stöhrhof with our two children (4 and 7 years old) and had a wonderful time. The holiday apartment was high quality, clean and with great attention to detail - just like the entire farm. The children were allowed to help with feeding the animals in the stable every evening and, depending on their age, all children were patiently and lovingly involved by the hosts. The location is simply fantastic. We simply enjoyed the peace and quiet, the direct proximity to nature and the many animals. A very clear recommendation for a modern, contemporary family holiday on the farm!

Picture-perfect Allgäu, it's just right hereEVERYTHING: beautiful farm in a quiet location with a view of the picturesque surroundings with hosts with their hearts in the right place, great accommodations. Every day the children were able to let off steam in the playground, help out in the stable or pay a visit to the ponies. Already for the second time We were able to spend a great holiday here and are already looking forward to our next holiday here!

We are regular guests at Sonja and Bruno's Stöhr.Hof and it feels like coming home every time! You meet other regulars there who have now become friends, and we enjoy the relaxed and warm atmosphere.It is a part-time farm and not an amusement park. Anyone expecting comprehensive children's entertainment at the Stöhr.Hof is in the wrong place.For example, hay harvesting depends on the timing of vegetation and dry weather - that's just nature. Our children have been excited for years, regardless of whether they helped in the stable or simply played with the farm animals.Like so many things in life, it's what you do with your vacation. For years we have been running a scavenger hunt with all interested holiday guests, young and old - great fun for everyone involved!During our last stay, we were particularly pleased that, at our request, Sonja and Bruno opened the play barn for an evening games evening. This shows how flexible and eager they are to ensure that their guests have a great time - even in bad weather.Sonja and Bruno spared no expense or effort to make our stay special. On the day of departure, our children were even able to see a chick hatch live - an unforgettable experience!The Stöhr.Hof is and remains a very special place for us, and we are already looking forward to our next stay. Many thanks to Sonja and Bruno for your hospitality and all the wonderful moments and memories!

We stayed at the Stöhrhof for 4 days with our almost two-year-old son and had a really nice time. The location is great, the apartment was really comfortable and most importantly, everything was really clean and lovingly furnished. The morning bread delivery service was also really great. The only point of criticism, and unfortunately the most important one for us, is that, as described in the description of the farm, we would have liked more to include the children in everyday farm life. Like, for example, “the evening visits to the stables with Rind & Co and riding on the tractor when the farmer gets the water barrel, seeing the hay harvest live, or helping to drive the chumps. We were there for 4 days and our little one was only taken to the stable on the first evening. When we asked if he could please take a ride on the tractor, we were unfortunately turned away because the tractor doesn't make special trips.Even in bad weather, we were not told anything about the play barn in the “Vogelhäusle”. We came to the farm because of the great reviews to make our little one happy, but unfortunately we were very disappointed in that regard. We definitely expected more because we assumed that if you advertise something, it will be implemented.

We were at the Stöhr farm for the first time this September and were completely satisfied. The location, the farm, the attention to detail and the hospitality - everything was perfect! What's also great is the fact that the stay includes the so-called Oberstaufen-plus-Card, with which you can use the local cable cars, lifts, the adventure swimming pool, the high ropes course, the summer toboggan run, etc. free of charge; All in all, that's a lot of savings on a family vacation! We have now booked another week of winter vacation in January!

We have been vacationing at the Stöhrhof since 2008. Because the overall package is right here. The yard is prepared with attention to detail. You can lounge on the terrace or in the garden, play with the children, help the Stöhrs with the animals or with the hay harvest - you don't have to, but it's fun.The apartments are all furnished to a high standard and well equipped. And very well maintained, that's what the Stöhrs value. This no longer has much to do with “holidays on the farm” from 20 years ago, because it is much more comfortable. If something is missing, talking helps. As a guest, you can reach your goal quickly with openness if it is realistic.Don't feel like going to the farm? Works too. If you like hiking, you have a large selection of hiking routes. Directly from the farm or from another location nearby. There are also many family-friendly excursion destinations in the surrounding area, most of which can be reached in about an hour by car. This applies to good and bad weather. Some of this is cheaper or free with the Oberstaufen plus card, which you can get. You don't have to search long for information about many destinations. They are available in the large hallway.If you want to have a relaxed (family) holiday in the foothills of the Alps, with friendly hosts and lots of leisure options, you can do so very well here.

We felt very comfortable from the first minute. Very nice hosts, it was a really family atmosphere. Can only be recommended. Apartments are very well equipped and beautifully decorated.A highlight were the (games) evenings on the terrace.Thanks to the Oberstaufen Plus card you can experience a lot here.Here you will find everything you need for a wonderful holiday.

A very nice farm to spend a holiday with the family.The host family is very accommodating and even organized a spaetzle dinner for all holiday guests.With the Oberstaufen plus card, many activities are available free of charge.

Very nice host family, well-kept, clean and renovated rooms. During Corona, the children were always able to take turns helping in the stable with other families and once we were offered pony rides. Once we were allowed to look for the bees. Rolls come to the door in the morning - great service! Drinks and jam are also available in the host house. Although the town is small, there is a cheese shop and a supermarket with sausage products. However, the Stöhrhof is outside - completely "undisturbed".With the guest card you can do a lot of things in the area and get great discounts - highly recommended.We felt comfortable and have been there twice.

Really great apartment with very nice house people. You can feel like you're with "friends" there. The kids were allowed to go into the stable and have fun with the many play options on the farm. The entire area is very lovingly and warmly designed. You discover something beautiful everywhere. The apartment is very warmly furnished with everything you need. I finally had large coffee cups, place mats, sharp kitchen knives, a mixer and baking pan and much more. That's not always the case😉We normally always use the Swiss knife as the all-rounder kitchen knife on vacation, but here it was only taken with us for hiking. The view is amazing from every window. We will definitely be happy to come back😊

The holiday apartment (mousetrap) is very nicely and comfortably furnished. Everything was very clean. Our daughter immediately went out to play on the farm and enjoyed feeding the goats and rabbits every day. We were warmly welcomed by the Stöhr family and often spent the evenings on the terrace with other guests after lovely hikes.We were completely satisfied.Kind regards and thank you again,Zipper family

We were there for the second time and can only say that it was great again. Sonja and Bruno are very nice hosts and the apartments are beautifully furnished. Arrive and feel good! The children are constantly on the move (large and small carts, trampoline, play tower, animals and lots of space) and the adults can relax. What more could you want?!

Dear Stöhr family, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation with you. We have never found such a clean, well-maintained, above-average equipped holiday apartment as yours. We didn't miss anything and we felt completely at home with you. Everything is done here to make the guest feel comfortable. Our children were allowed to ride ponies, help with the stable work, and feed and pet the animals. We enjoyed the bread roll service every day and everything was rounded off by the Oberstaufen + card, which is included and therefore many activities on site are free. The farm is also the ideal starting point for numerous hikes in beautiful mountain landscapes. We were the first guests in months of the Corona forced break and are so happy that we were able to be your guests. We'd love to come back.
