Kinda disappointed by the venue. First room we get - heater did not work and we have to sleep in jackets as it was approx. 12 C inside. Next day our room was changes for better one, but this one did not had doors to bathroom, so no privacy. Last day our card to room stopped working at 5am so we had luck that someone was earlier to help us, otherwise we would sleep in a corridor.Beds were comfy, but room is only for sleeping, nothing more. Glad i came here for ADE and i was in hotel only for getting some sleep.Breakfast is simple - toaster, bread, eggs, ham, cheese, vegetables, some jams, milk, coffee and tea. Not bad, just typical breakfast.Service was helpful, good and very pleasant, they were trying to help you.Place is located in Amstelveen, approx. 40 min by public transport to centrum of Amsterdam, so not bad, but if you dont wanna lose your time for transportation - choose other venue.

A local cafe where you can have a cup of coffee or a bite to eat outside or inside. The service is friendly. The food is pricey for a number of dishes if you look at the price-quality. In addition, the quality of food also varies. Sometimes surprisingly tasty or not. Probably depends on the cook.

Music from the bar was so loud it vibrated our floor. It didn't stop until 2am. There's mould on the windows and in the shower, and there is scum on the curtains. The backdoor is never locked so it isn't very secure. The location is great, but there is nothing else good to say about this place.

I don't quite know where to start...1) Room: Run down. Not a pleasant atmosphere. Carpet and curtains dirty with white paint, coat hooks sticking, power strips are dirty and a night lamp is missing - only the cables were sticking out of the wall. Beds were clean.2) Toilet & shower: shared bathroom. Very spartan but clean.3) I found the staff nice, there's nothing to complain about. During our absence, the beds were made new, trash cans were emptied and there were fresh towels.4) Location: The Abina is a pub with a restaurant area. On weekends people like to party until late into the night and a restful sleep is hardly possible. The pub itself is located in a quiet residential area - probably THE hotspot for locals, as the pub was always packed from the afternoon onwards.

Genuinely awful hotel. do not stay here. its filthy, you will not sleep as the room vibrates with noise until 2am. It's a bit cheaper but you will 100% regret staying here. The room was smelly, mouldy, and noisy throughout the day/ night. …

— hotel review —Do yourself a favor and don't go to this place. I haven't experienced anything worse than this. Our overnight stay was from Friday to Saturday. The music from downstairs literally drove us out of bed until 3am. And I'm not exaggerating. The noise canceling of your Airpods doesn't even stop it.Check-in takes place at a small booth in the pub, and we reach our room via a squat staircase. Everything is old. All doors squeak, the hotel has apparently never heard of WD40. If you haven't had a short night because of the music, then it is because of the doors and the stairs. The bed was fine, but that's all. It's warm there, we open the window and the smoke from the partygoers below enters. Saves another pack of cigarettes. The shower and toilets are shared. There is mold in the shower, there are no hooks and the laundry basket there is broken. The toilets were never renovated after the 1960s.What a hopeless hotel, we just have breakfast at the bakery down the road, we don't want to know what they serve here.
