Hotel boat is a very good place to stay overnight if you don't want to go out of historical center. But for the longer staying I'd recommend to find smth else with own facilities in the room, and more efficient breakfast. Overall it's OK, and special thanks to the crew for the hospitality!

Perfect location, excellent breakfast, attentive and kind staff. The room is very small and the bathrooms are shared between all the rooms, but the experience of staying on a boat is unmissable. And there's Avalon!!!

The boat door code is sent to you by message, so you can be sure that only residences can enter the boat. There wasn't a moment during my stay that I didn't feel safe. I can recommend it to women traveling alone. The location is very good and within walking distance to central places. The price is at the most affordable level of the tourism period. The rooms are small but adequate. Toilets and bathrooms are clean. Towels, soap and toilet paper are provided, but you are expected to bring your own shampoo and shower gel. Hot water is not provided after 11 at night to prevent noise. Most people observed the quiet hours. Quiet hour between 23.00 and 09.00.Breakfast starts at 8.30 and ends at 10. It is quite satisfying and sufficient.It was an interesting experience, I will definitely stay here when I come again.

Really lovely place to stay and I would recommend it. It was rather noisy with the guests whether it's because the football had been on or if its because it's Amsterdam and the crowd of people there that night I'm unsure but that shouldn't reflect on the hotelboat. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a free breakfast which I didn't manage to take advantage of as I had an early flight, there was also biscuits and drinks available too. The dining areas were nice to sit at also and if the weather had been nice I would have been sitting on the deck for a while enjoying the time outside. If you worry about getting up and down ladder type stairs then this may not be the best place to stay for you.

400€ for a night for 4 in 8m2Ok it's a boat and we weren't expecting a 30m2 room, but- dirty room- clean bed linen ?? Not sure.. with stains & cigarette holes in great grandmother's blankets.....- bad smell and humidity ++++ in the room- defective bedroom sinkDecent breakfastReally disappointed.

Large PB of heating and hot water.Hostile staff who spent more time smoking.We had to sleep two in a single bed to stay warm.So wet that the towels wouldn't dry.Very bad experience!

Okay property, but unfriendly staff. We were not allowed to escort our mom in the room. “Otherwise it becomes a mess letting people in and out”. Mainly the way this guy said it and tone, plainly rude!Also, last time the boat flooded 😂

We stayed 2 nights on the Amsterdam hotelboat. Announcement intended to be family friendly on booking.- lack of communication from the teams despite messages via the booking server.- small and poorly soundproofed room. We expected it, but bring earplugs to sleep well. Just a sheet and a blanket to sleep on.- no hot water for 2 days to wash without communication or solution from the teams.- decent breakfast: cold milk, hot water, coffee. But no juice or hot chocolate.- cleaning to be reviewed for the rooms and common areas.- 12 minutes walk from the station, and quiet area if we ignore the boat itself (but we can't blame anyone here)

This was the worst place I ever stayed. Don’t spend your money in this place , there are much better options in Amsterdam at the same price.I don’t want to make a long list of the things that I didn’t like but I have to say that all the bad comments from previous reviews are real and the situation hasn’t improved.I was lucky that I had only stayed one night but literally I just wasted my money here because I was not even able to sleep due of the noise that the boat makes.

It's primitive but okay. Rooms are small, but that is to be expected on a boat. Take it as an experience before.It's fine for 1 or 2 nights, but I wouldn't want to stay there in a heat wave because there is only a small ventilation window. We did not choose to include breakfast.
