DO NOT STAY HERE…UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS…
We saw a review saying there was bed bugs but we decided to check it out. Didn’t see any at first so we stayed the night. Woke up with a bed bug on my pillow…
In addition it’s moldy and smells. Just take my advice and spend the money to get a decent hotel.

Only good thing about this hotel was location in Amsterdam.We encountred a serious issue that affected the quality of our stay and raised concerns about hygiene and safety.Firstly the room that we booked was not the same, as it was on the pictures.In that room that we stayed in, there was no any window, and it smelled of dampness and molds.To make it even worse, we found a mouse in the room.At first we could hear noises from the deck, as if someone was ripping it off.This was extremly disturbing for us, and we reported to reception.We just picked our stuffs, and went away from this Hotel.Its safer to be on the streets, then sleeping in the hotel like this.

What a letdown. A dirty, old, run-down student room is where we spent the night. Frames are rotten, dirty socks that were still in a bedside table, worn floor full of stains and dust, a bathroom where you cannot take a normal shower, a wardrobe with one coat hanger, no hairdryer, no waste bin in the room. And that for €207 👍🏼 top deal

Excellent. Unbeatable quality-price for the perfect location in which it is located.It is an old building, like all the buildings in the city, because of how old it is.We went with the fear of finding a disaster based on the reviews but when we arrived, our experience was not unpleasant at all. No bed bugs, no moldy smell; It simply smells of the humidity that the city gives off. Every day they cleaned the room, the bathroom and changed our towels.The guys at the reception were super friendly, we were like family, they even invited us to eat pizza with them!If we return to Amsterdam, we will definitely stay there again!

This was definitely the worst hotel I've ever been to while traveling abroad.The only good things about it were that it was within walking distance to the center, that it was close to the tram stop, and that there was a bakery next door.There's no air conditioner in the room, and the walls are made of brick? mortar? Therefore, there is no soundproofing at all, so you can hear the voices of people drinking outside.Also, the number of guests was the lowest, and the room I stayed in was on the second floor, but when I came down from the stairs on the third floor, it was so noisy, as if I was rushing down, and I couldn't tell if the female guest next to me was an acquaintance or my boyfriend. They fight loudly on the stairs going down from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor, and they cry loudly in front of the door to their room, so it's far from a sleep-friendly environment.In addition, the sensor on the ceiling of the shower booth does not respond well, and the lights turn off immediately when using the toilet or shower.The worst part was that the stairs to the lobby were so steep that it was very difficult to lift my suitcase up and up, and I was also a little scared when I checked out and took it down.I can't understand this environment at this price range and will never use it again.

I wouldn’t even know if I’m reviewing the correct hotel. The reception for La belle vue is inside a diff hotel 3 doors before so I am not sure which hotel I even stayed at anymore. The rooms are nothing like the pictures so I’m questioning the stay even more. The bathroom sink leaks constantly the shower is nothing like you would expect it, if you aren’t careful the water will also leak out the toilet room to the acc bedroom. EXTREMELY small, if you have big luggage u won’t even be able to open it without taking up the whole floor space.The walls are also thin at night you can hear everyone else coming up and down the stairs and even locking their room.There’s about 2 sets of stairs before you can acc get to the reception, very small and definitely not safe.Location is good 15 mins from the city centre and there’s metro near the hotel. About 5 mins from Anne Franks museum. The staff is nice and friendly always in service if you need them. Good WiFi service.

We had a room without a window but that was not a problem. The room was clean, but it smelled musty due to the lack of a window. But otherwise a great bed and nice shower, especially for a night, no problem.

The hotel itself is a dump. Definitely not worth $150 a night but the location makes it worthwhile. Don’t expect anything fancy. The bathroom had a cracked sink and looked dirty. Bed was comfortable. The safe was locked and we couldn’t use it. The street view was excellent.

Hotel simpler than the mechanism of a pacifier, it does not have air conditioning, it does not have a mini fridge, it does not have a microwave, very small and narrow room, dirty mattress cover, very deteriorated floorboards, grease stains on the wall, unfinished holes in the walls and the icing on the cake, the staircase, 5 floors without an elevator, quite an adventure, I think I lost 2 kilos, if you are hypertensive, don't take it, you go up with your heart on your hand

I'm only giving one star because you can't do less.I'd start with the fact that to find the hotel entrance I had to go around the block three times, it's practically invisible without a sign.Then there are about a hundred super steep and narrow stairs to get to the third floor where we had the room.Opening the room we find it visibly smaller than the photos on booking, and decidedly less welcoming.The coffee machine in the corridor was out of order, while the drinks dispenser stole two euros from us and upon asking for them back at reception they were not returned, also blaming us for having put them in without seeing that the drinks were finished. (It wasn't written anywhere.)In the room we find a window behind the headboard of the bed (practically unopenable, with broken glass and mould), the bed is quite uncomfortable and stuck to the wall.There is no wardrobe and the socket for the floor lamp and the TV are together, so if you turn off the light you also turn off the TV.The bathroom gives off a terrible and nauseating sewage smell (to say the least)... The sink drain leaks water and the floor shower has neither a curtain nor a folding door to close, plus the hand shower also leaks waterfall.Let's move on to the clue of our night: in the middle of the night (3.41 to be precise) we were brutally woken up by the fire or smoke alarm in the room, even though we were simply sleeping, to make a long story short the entire floor woke up in the throes of panic, not to mention the panic attack I had resulting in vomiting. And NO ONE showed up to turn it off.It was personally a terrible and at times traumatic experience, we didn't sleep at all.I will never go back there again and I strongly advise against it, also because for 60 euros a night you can find much better places.

Absolutely avoid. Zero ventilation and dilapidated room.READ the reviews carefully beforehand. We made the mistake of trusting the photos but the announcement was misleading.This hotel ruined my first day of vacation.We should have stayed 4 days but we left on the 1st day and WITHOUT REFUND!The stairs are difficult and narrow. If you are not ready to suffer, don't go there.The worst was the room we had:-Broken window where we could hear everything that was happening outside. Curtain so dusty that if you are asthmatic don't go there.- Zero ventilation. My husband being claustrophobic, we had to flee. The air doesn't circulate, it looks like a prison cell.- the floor is filled with dust as well as the dilapidated and maintenance-free furniture. If you are allergic to dust mites and dust, don't go there.- Dirty bed linen - with traces of blood- When you arrive you have to go up a whole set of stairs to check in, exit the building and go up a whole set of stairs again to get to the room.Don't go there, we found a hotel in the area for the same price with an elevator and, above all, circulating air.They didn't want to reimburse us but we don't regret leaving. We have had no refund either following the false advertising of the room or in relation to the tourist tax paid but even hell is better than this hotel.

Terrible!!!Everything is by stairs, with steps that the foot enters from the side and super steep, each floor is approx. 5m.We had one of the rooms without a window and with a musty smell.Breakfast was a jug to heat water that you could only carry in the showerThe lighting is with a sensor and is constantly cut off.The receptionists are very rude.They did not allow us to leave the suitcases for a few more hours, nor did they allow last check out.I doubt it is an authorized place
