It was the worst hostel I ever visited in my recent trip to Europe. Stairs were so inclined that you couldn't go upstairs with multiple rests. One toilet/ shower was for 16 to 18 persons. The sink was not working. No hand-wash, no toilet rolls.😲You hardly walk in the centre of the room for your bed.Noisy

Stairs extremely steep, rock climbing experience handy.Size 3 or smaller feet recommended as stair steps are very small.Communal toilet extremely small, if you are not an amputee you barely fit as your knees touch the door when sitting down.Rooms were small but decent, clean enough that nobody died.Ask for 2 extra towels to put on the ground of the shower as they don't have curtains or a screen and water goes everywhere.

Place looked ok but staff is useless, just discovered a bed bug as I left.. and now my body is aching.Left in a hurry, forgot something..Sent my friend to go get it, the person at the reception was not able to open the lock 🤪Don’t recommend this place at all.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were grateful. But the room was too small and very noisy. Not very clean. We 2 ppl paid €789 for 5 days on booking.com, which was not worth it.

Whole place is so dirty. Bathroom does not look like it’s been cleaned in weeks, same with the floor in the bedroom. When we arrived our sheets were covered in dirt. Also dirty sheets of previous people were just dumped on the floor. Some staff were rude to us. cleaner kept on coming in and out of our room repeatedly throughout the day starting at 8/9am. The place is also incredibly small, one person width between the beds, it felt very claustrophobic. Overall we did not enjoy our stay here.

Be careful of mold in the bathroom!!!The location of the hotel is super central and it was very easy to reach every attraction and restaurant on foot. The shopping miles were also only a few meters away.The room was very small and could only be reached by very steep stairs, but that wasn't a problem for us. The reason for the bad rating, however, is the cleanliness. As soon as we entered the room we quickly noticed that it was very dirty. The floor hadn't been vacuumed, and the bathroom, including the sink and shower, looked as if they hadn't seen any cleaning products in a long time. The really bad thing, however, was the black mold that was spread throughout the bathroom and also smelled terrible!This hotel room or the bathroom is absolutely unacceptable!

Made me check in/ check out and switch rooms after one night without any prior heads up that would be happening, this after I arrived to check in at 2 am.Then discovered there are only two outlets in a room for 4 people, so I couldn’t charge my phone over night, had to waste time in the morning waiting for my phone to charge.The stairs are a death trap. Would not refund for the next 3 nights booked when I told them I don’t want to stay in a room where I can’t charge my phone. Do not recommend.

Excellent location for hostel, 10 minute walk to train station, dam Square, red light district and every main tourist attraction. The bathrooms and dorms were clean. They even provided lockers with padlocks for free which a lot of hostels charge for. They let you store luggage till 6 pm free of charge.Only downside for which 1 star is removed is the steep narrow staircase which is unavoidable. We had just backpacks so we were ok, if you have any piece of hand held luggage you will struggle.

SCAM!! They request prepayment authorization 6 days before arrival for the first night. It is imperative to communicate our card information (except cryptogram) by email otherwise the reservation will be canceled. They claim that the card is refused (my banker confirmed to me that no prepayment request appears on my account) and our reservation has been canceled. Of course the deposit paid to Hostelworld was not refunded! Don't go there!
