We had a wonderful time at the Four Elements Hotel in Amsterdam. The location is fantastic, right on the seafront, offering a peaceful setting with beautiful views.Getting here was easy as it’s accessible by tram from Amsterdam Centraal, making it convenient for sightseeing without being in the hustle and bustle of the city center. The food was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. The rooms were cozy and well-designed, providing a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring.Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

The hotel is well maintained and clean, room service was very nice. Some employees at reception greet you very friendly, others are busy with their own cell phones and don't look up.However, the bathroom is a bad design - cold water can only be opened with difficulty due to the sink, the shower sprays onto the floor outside due to the lack of a cover and, above all, the sliding glass door to the room that is not flush leaves little privacy. The hotel is a few minutes' walk from the tram, from where you can reach all points in the city center in about 20 minutes. However, you are also very close to the beach.

Lovely hotel, facing the lake which is very pleasant. The decoration is very pretty, the rooms are perfect and very comfortable, and the breakfast is incredible! Small downside on the translucent bathroom door, we don't necessarily want to guess the person behind us 😅

Nice hotel, not located directly in the center at the marina. The only thing that bothered me is that the rooms are quite noisy. When the room next door was cleaned early in the morning, you were wide awake straight away.

Very quiet hotel on the Ijmeer. A good change from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Modern facilities and good transport connections. But it's actually everywhere in Amsterdam. The GVB is doing good work. With the tram in 20 minutes in the city center. We've been there several times.Unfortunately the service decreases from time to time. Some of the floors in the restaurant have been defective for a long time. Danger of accidents. There are open pieces of parquet lying around.Lots of poorly cleaned coffee cups at the self-service coffee machine.Too few service staff. Things were often not available at breakfast and you had to ask the staff for refills. Tables were often not cleared and set fresh and clean. Inviting is something else. What's not possible is no more fitness area! The gym was closed. How are you supposed to feast and enjoy heartily if you don't have anything to compensate for your well-being?The price-performance ratio no longer fits. That's why we won't be back again unfortunately.

My favorite hotel in Amsterdam. Location south of the center in Ijburg. Within walking distance of the beach and in the other direction the marina directly at the hotel. Quiet area.
