The hotel is not recommended. It starts at the reception (unfriendly) and runs like a common thread through the hotel.Showering is quite difficult because the water jet is very weak.We had to walk to another hotel the evening before to pay because our reception is only open from 9:00 a.m. in the morning. We had booked the ferry for 9:00.Price not justified!!!

We were there for 1 weekA nice location 5 minutes to the beachThe rooms are clean and nicely decoratedThe staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is rich and very goodThe only thing we thought was a shame was that the bar lady (a super nice and friendly woman) had to do everything downstairs alone in the evening when the house was full

A hotel with light & shadow! Light for the modern and tastefully furnished double rooms with bathrooms. The breakfast on offer also leaves nothing to be desired. On the other hand, the service is poor, especially the reception at the reception. Unfriendly, taciturn and obviously stressed beyond measure when 3 guests want to check in. Information, information/help regarding the Norderney guest card is inadequate. At this point in the hotel, improvement/staff replacement is more than urgently needed!!For our stay (August 23rd to August 25th, 2024) we chose a double room superior. As already described, the room was very good. However, why the hygiene products in the bathroom are limited to toilet paper, shower gel and a bar of soap the size of a postage stamp is absolutely incomprehensible and far below standard. And the view, at least from the superior room we used, of an inner courtyard with a large waste container, bicycle racks that probably come from bulky waste and a kitchen ventilation that hisses 24/7, isn't exactly charming either. The mini pool is also horrible with just 2 (!) loungers and dangerously low ceiling supports. Everything there, as well as in the adjacent sauna area, is extremely careless and actually unusable. Also because, as already mentioned in other reports at this point, the steam sauna does not function - is defective -, the standard sauna only reaches 70 to 75°C and the sauna heater is not accessible to the guest/user and therefore a simple water infusion is impossible . In the entire bathroom/sauna area there is no drinking water/tea and/or perhaps a bowl of apples, which is now considered the minimum standard. That's '5-'!A word about the possibility of being able to safely store your own bicycles or ones rented locally: in times of booming bicycle tourism, a hotel of this class should have parking areas that offer protection against bad weather and unauthorized access/theft! So as food for thought...
