We spontaneously stopped by the restaurant after a bike tour and were very positively surprised! We ate and drank very tasty! Very good service and tasty, honest cuisine! From the broth with liver dumplings to the Schäufele and the tarte flambée, everything was very tasty! Dessert is also recommended! We were completely happy and satisfied!

We were guests on Saturday evening and had the Käsespätzle alongside a Scheufele with dumplings and cabbage. We were very satisfied and the dessert was also impressive. In addition to regional cuisine, the menu also offers a great range of delicious menus for vegetarians. The drinks menu is also very extensive and leaves nothing to be desired, cold or warm, with or without alcohol.The service, thanks to Sandra :), is very nice and accommodating. The prices are high but very reasonable given the top quality, the good staff and the pleasant atmosphere.We'd love to come back!

Beautifully located restaurant in a venerable house. The wide range of dishes ranges from Franconian specialties to international delicacies. Particularly unusual dishes such as Hochreiter's tarte flambée with “pulled Schäufele”, mustard sauce and onions on a spatter beer malt base are worth a try. The daily menu also includes delicacies such as wild boar sausage on kohlrabi vegetables and mashed potatoes as well as classics such as baked carp with potato salad. A plus point is that the kitchen is open all day long - so you can enjoy hearty dishes even in the afternoon and you don't have to limit yourself to coffee and cake. The service is friendly and well organized.

Went there spontaneously for lunch today - we were lucky and managed to get a table (2 adults and 1 infant in a stroller).The service was very friendly and accommodating.The food came very quickly, was a large portion and very tasty.Ambience and price-performance ratio very good.We'll definitely be back!

We went there 7 times in 14 days.Very good service!Very accommodating!Excellent price/performance ratio.Reservations are recommended because, like everywhere in the catering industry, there is a shortage of staff.

We immediately found a parking space (but you have to be lucky) and a free table. After 15 minutes of waiting, we still weren't served, even though there were 4 waitresses on duty. Then the table next to us was served first, even though it was occupied far after us. That was the last straw for my patience and we left the restaurant again. In addition, the smell and flies from the inconveniently located cowshed (just opposite) are annoying and don't necessarily whet your appetite. So make sure to choose a spot as far away as possible, unless you like it. Unfortunately, the prices of all the restaurants around Lake Brombachsee have risen sharply, but if the service leaves something to be desired, you'll forget about going out to eat and it's best to eat at home. Every restaurant is responsible for whether it loses or gains customers through appropriate service.

Very nice and clean restaurant.The menu is clear and yet you don't know what to eat (everything reads extremely delicious)! What I would personally like to highlight are the gluten-free options they offer! You don't have to argue with the staff or ask for the allergy card. It's simply on the menu as a matter of course. We'll definitely be back! Service was also top and on point... Everything was just great
